Burress questionable vs Texans

Burress is a big deal, but losing the #1 WR - when you have other targets and decent looking WR backups - isn't a death blow.

However, losing one of your two pass rushers (possibly allowing your other rusher to get doubled all game) and your #1 CB could be very devestating. McQuarters on Moulds? Hmm, that might be survivable. McQuarters on AJ?!? Or maybe Frank Walker on Moulds?!? Ouch.

This is a HUGE deal. Burress does three things every game... seriously:

1. Blow by somebody on a deep ball.
2. Catch a ball that should be picked off.
3. Make a catch on a ball that shouldn't be caught.

So we can count on 1 less deep ball, 1 more pick, and 1 more incomplete pass at a big point in the game. I am not joking.

I wouldn't say every game. Especially the INT thing. #1, is also not every game but most games, #3 is pretty often. I think that fans of other teams overblow it sometimes, though you said that it's one of each. Some fans that want to bash Eli make it sound like every pass is either #2 or #3. It's been a bit more the last few games. It's pretty interesting though we never know what was intentional and what wasn't. Eli often purposely throws it up high. People say that if he didn't have a huge WR he wouldn't make those catches because a lot of balls are overthrown really high, but even if the balls were overthrown I doubt that they'd be over thrown as high for shorter recievers since Eli doesn't try to throw it as high. Plus I was thinking that the TD last game was a bad throw when Plax had to one hand it but Plax was praising that throw (didn't have to say anything, so no it wasn't just because he's a teammate). Sorry I went OT, but I had to vent some.

It's not Burress that I would lose sleep about it is Tiki and that horse his name fails me but that dude is just scary he is huge he looks like he should be lined up on the other side of the ball. If he does not play though that would be great but I do not put much faith in injury reports practice as if he is playing and be done with it.

The horse's name is Brandon Jacobs. For an immature joke and easy way to remember his initials spell BJ. ;)

Nice I likes BJ.

So do I. Sometimes I wish we'd use him more often. This is the real Thunder and Lightning, not the one in 2000. It's great after years of Dayne to have a guy that'll run you over and actually get short yardage. Plus he's FAST and can run wide. The Giants were the last team according to the guys on MNF to fail on 3rd and 1. The Giants couldn't convert a 3rd and 1 to save their lives a few years back. Knock on wood of course.

Well here to Eli having a bad game, no injurys lord knows we can not afford anymore Oline wise and the Texans pulling off the upset doubt it but heres to having a dream.

He is 6-5 it is a big blow, when Eli has nothing else he is throwing it up for TDs.
