coaches need to swallow pride and do what's best for team.

I see alot of us have alot of complaints and hey their justified. Hell, I gotta ***** about yesterdays game myself. I started this thread though so we could get an idea of what our coaches should do and see how it is they actually do. I'll start off with.

1. Waive the new FB we got. I mean I didn't see him yesterday. I thought we brought him it to help with the run game, he didn't do anything kick him to the curb. In addition kick any player that's not contributing to the curb.

2. Bring back Seth Wand. I don't know what the coaches or FO is trying to prove, but the man should be on the roster. Before anybody says we already have Salaam let me counter by saying. Salaam is our swing tackle he can play the right side. We have him backing up or taking Weigart's spot if he misses any time with Winston backing them up. I don't want to hear about Wand having been bad in the past. The o-line coach (Sherman) wanted him and the head coach (Kubiak) cut him. Kubiak needs to swallow his pride and get him back on the team.

3. Sign another DT. It pains me that Payne is going out, but this could turn out to be a positive, I don't know who all is out there, but the coaching staff and their personnel group does. They missed out on Grady Jackson, they didn't go out and get one during the bye week. Even though Kubiak's been saying it before the season even began that we need to step it up in the middle. Get a DT that is stout against the run.

4. Get Lee Suggs. I don't care if he's injury prone, he's experienced and on the market. He can't be worse than what we have. Not only this, but send a message to your other backs. Get with the program or you won't be here long. Dayne is not producing and he's not being pushed to do so. Gado isn't either yet their the only two RB's active during game day. WTF c'mon coach K that's no way do run a team. You don't want to deactivate Dayne, fine deactivate Gado and demote Dayne, bottom line Dayne is not starting material.

5. DL rotation and active DL. We have eight count 'em ocho active D-linemen every game. Nothing wrong with that, but it's not as efficient as it should be. DT position is interchangeable so get a three man rotation going and stick with it. Like I said we should get another DT, because Malone hasn't really shown me much but otherwise go for it with three DT's on gameday. Rest one each series and let them alternate. Same thing with the DE's get a three man rotation going and just make room for a pass rush specialist. When Peek comes back de-activate Kalu. There's no reason to have 9 active linemen on gameday. You got your three rotational DE's and Peek or Kalu coming in on third down as pass-rush specialists.

6. OLB's.......... just do something. It's almost as if they don't exist on our team. I'm tired of these guys lack of production. They either need to step their game up or the FO needs to go out and find FA's to fill in for the season.

7. Make half-time adjustments. Damn just because you do well in the first half doesn't mean doing the same thing will get you the same results. The opposing team is going to make adjustments we need to do the same thing. I mean how hard is it to look out on the field and identify what the other teams weaknesses are. LBs were constantly playing to close to the line gash em in the middle. make them back off some. We threw no deep balls. Why? c'mon Coaches, get your stuff together.

8. Quit thinking you can win this season and just focus on your game. Honestly I get tired of hearing this gives us the best opportunity to win that's why we're doing this. Same as last season I'm not saying throw games. Never that, but evaluate all your talent. After the season your gonna have to make decisions on alot of these guys. Give them the chance to make a case to wether they stay or go. Is Lundy or Taylor the future of our running game? Find out, put them on the field to evaluate them, because I can tell you right now without a shadow of a doubt that Dayne isn't the future of our running game.

9. Be honest. I mean brutally honest. Don't tell us what you think we want to hear and let your actions contradict you. Don't tell us our running game is fine and that our guys just need more time. Don't tell us that one aspect of our game is lacking and then do nothing about it. We all wanna win, but above all that we wanna see that the best product is getting put on the field. Get to it coaches.

Hmmm... I know I went on a rant there towards the end, I just had to get that out of my system. Any other thoughts.

Well Said!!! Yer Right...

I would like to add Get Michael Turner from San Diego.. Take a good look at him. he's a back up that runs better than our starters!!! He performs and will want a starting job soon or at least by next season... I think he will fit into the mix besides our new RB don't do a dang thing... We need to let DD, Dayne and Gado go... Lundy should get a pass since he is a rook but all the rest of the bums need to go!!!

I don't have time or I would rant with you!!

Also, The bad storm Houston is having is because YOU LOST to DALLAS... God is NOT happy with the Texans!!! Expect more bad weather!!

Michael Turner Houston's RB of the Future!!!

We need a DOMINATING personality to come in and shake the mental shackles this team is under. This team is rich in talent, but poor in focus and confidence.

IMO

Great post. I 'm very confused. Are we evaulating player's or trying to win now?

Sorry, got caught up in the moment. I meant that we should evaluate talent. I just don't like it when they say they don't give people a chance because they aren't the best options to win the game. I would want a balance. Where we try to win now, but at the same time give different guys a look.

I just don't like hearing that excuse.

You can't expect Vonta Leach to play right away. He has to pick up a new playbook and he came in too late to game plan.

Vonta Leach was not active for the game, so that is why you did not see him. I disagree on de-activating ND Kalu. When he is in there, things happen. I would play him more not less.:ok:

I said it once before and got ridiculed for it but I'll say it again......"It's hard to motivate a millionaire".

I like the "kick 'em to the curb" method. Kubiak can tell who wants to play and who is there collecting a paycheck. If somebody is just waiting for payday......"kick him to the curb". And I gotta tell you all, it looks to me like there are a lot of Texans "waiting for payday".
