That is what I am thinking. I know the running blocking is terrible, but I am tired watching Dayne and Gado running into the back of our linemen and falling down. At least Taylor may be able to bounce something outside or cut to the middle for a little more than 1.3 yards per carry.
 
The thing is, both Taylor and Lundy have got to show that they can pick up the blitz. Until then, Dayne and Gado will be on the field.

That's the main reason Morency was shipped out. He's a good runner, but his blitz pickup was terrible.
 
so they not in bc they cant pick up a blitz....look at yesterday.. even with carr not being sack we got blown out because of a lack of a running game.. i rather them give up couple sack and learn in the process because they only learn by being in a game have have a running game than none and throw all the time and let the defense drop everyone back into coverage and get interception
 
I dislike running back threads, because everyone was clammoring for Dayne, and a few stated that Gado was not a power back, and Lundy was so good, so I will only say this----There is no back on this squad that can get the job done, that man was Morrency and he's long gone, Antowain Smith could have avg. close to 4 ypc here because contrary to popular belief the holes are there and our run blocking is not weak, not crisp, but not weak.

Here's to next year, after all it was a collarbone, not a knee or a leg.

I'm not making excuses for anyone, but several times yesterday I saw our backs have an opportunity to bounce it to the outisde and they ran straight into a pile of defenders.

I've seen this once....when I played electric football. I'm pretty sure many of you guys don't even know what electric football is! Old school rulez

stop- now i can't get that grating sound out of my mind.

btw, relatedly, the "foos" hockey games are now collectibles.

on topic, i'd like to see the texans line up with a single fullback for blocking and screen passes and go to a run-and-shoot offense.
