Just thinking today that Mario is only 21, very young, when will he reach his prime?

Thanks for your support!
I just researched it also and was on my way to correct myself. I remember hoping we would pass on Carr to get Peppers.Peppers had 12 sacks & 28 tackles in his rookie season...
EVERYONE knew who Peppers was in his rookie debut.

Kay-sura-sura (or however in the heck you spell that).
Unless the Texans start making better personnel decisions, we aren't going to be competitive next year either. I do give them kudos for a good draft even in hindsight. If we had to do it over again we might make a different first pick, but that isn't real clear after 5 games either. Overall we were strong in the draft.Like the rest of the team, this season will be a building block. I dont care if Mario only ends up with 1.5 sacks this season as long as he progresses enough to be a force next year when we have a chance to be competative
he looks like a 3-4 DE to me...he's a bit of a tweener....he's certainly doesn't have any pass rushing skills right now. Williams looks like a prototype 3-4 end. Tall, athletic, strong but rangy enough and has plenty of speed on the edge to battle wco te/fb screens and short action to the flats. He doesn't seem to be a natural pass rusher, but you don't need to be one if you run the 3-4. Oh the irony.i'm going to put my heterodoxic take on MW here.
i've yet to see him engage the RT head-on then make an inside move. he seems to me to take the path of least resistance each play, essentially bolting upfield then trying to chase the play down from behind. can someone who has seen more games please tell me this is not representative of his skills?
