If we win we will be tied for first....They can be beat on their home field and Jake the snake can be RATTLED up with a little pressure.

this one is tough...if the texans can play their game and not shoot themselves in the foot, they'll win. One mistake will cost them the game

If no mistakes

Texans 28
Broncos 27

if mistakes
Broncos 24
Texans 10

remember lynch is out and one of their best linemen.....they've been making too many mistakes.....my prediction: texans 27
denver 10

Tough call on this one:

Texans 24
Horsies 28

I just don't see them droping 3 in a row with a home game. Sure hope I am wrong.

well i don't care what anyone says, TEXANS will WIN.....I have complete confidence in them....Don't be soo concerned with numbers and ratings, trust in your team...They want to win bad and Carr will pull it off. Remenber half the games they have played so far the odds were against them and they pulled it off and proved many wrong....I believe they will do it again. You know, the broncos message board was predicting the Texans to win more then ppl have on here....Ironic huh!!!....lol....

I took a look at their board last night and they pretty much expect to lose this game .

i saw chad johnson make champ bailey look like an ***** on national TV a couple weeks ago. i dont think bailey is big or strong enough to cover AJ, i think we need to go at him early and force a double team. if that happens, Carr will be able to pick a part a lynchless secondary like it were............hmmmm.... the vikings secondary.

I have this funny, nagging feeling that Champ might play this game with something to prove. Let's hope that I am wrong. (of course this is only one guy)

You are correct that an offensive flag should have been thrown on CJ when he pushed off--then again, that only accounted for 50 yards of the 170+ yds that CJ torched Bailey for that day.

Bailey is a classic example of the overuse of the phrase shutdown corner--sorry, but Deion had seasons he didn't give up 170 yds in and Bailey gave it up in one game.

This one has me worried. Not so sure if we can get them this time, but will go and say we can take them. As long as they don't take any of our guys out! Plus they are at home and the air is somewhat thin. Need to check if snow is forecasted for them. idonno:

Texans: 21
Orange Crush (I like that Mike!): 20

I think we have a really good chance as long as we don't make stupid mistakes. NO FUMBLES PLEASE!!!

Also, from a macthup point of view, I really like how our Defense has been playing the last couple of weeks. We've been playing great against the run, and if we can shut down the run, we have a great chance. While we've done mediocre to poorly against teams like Chiefs, Chargers, and Raiders, we were great against running teams like the Titans and Jaguars. Plummer is an overrated QB and his recieving core is pretty mediocre, so if we can just stop the run, and keep them looking at 3rd and long, than we can definitely win. I also like our offensive playcalling the last couple of weeks. Keep on running the ball, even if it isn't that productive, and spread the ball around.

In the end, all we need is 2 things IMO. No fumbles, no stupid penalties (really like how disciplines our team is this year), and stop the run. If we can do those things, than I can expect a W.

Texans 24 :thumbup Ponies 17 :thumbdown

JJ is gonna break one for a score on the first ball he gets his hands on!!!! :headbang:

Have faith in our squad. Forget about them dropping 3 in a row, we can MAKE them drop 3 in a row. This D hasnt given up a TD in the past 6 quarters. I love the tenacity and heart it is playing with. Our offense's confidence is growing with every play, and judging by our preseason performance against their team (with all healthy starters), I think Domanick returns and Carr and his 4 henchmen pick the Broncos apart. GO TEXANS. (If this doesnt convince you of a Texans win, you arent a fan :) )

Must stop Jake Plummer. Must slow down the run somewhat. Make sure we don't make mistakes, and if we do all that we'll come out with 21-17 victory.

Keeping with the reverse psychology theory (it really works)...

Jackasses - 27

Texans - 21

Beerlover, I like your pick but I think you are putting far too many points on our side.

I think it will be Texans 31-Nags 13

Texans 27 Broncos 6
Oh wait, they have thin air up there....
Texans 30 Broncos 9

I think the Defense is gonna surprise alot of ppl
:hehe:

!!!!DEFENSE!!!!DEFENSE!!!!DEFENSE!!!!
!!!!DEFENSE!!!!DEFENSE!!!!DEFENSE!!!!

I think it's going to be a close game. AJ needs to be a big factor and we need to get our running game going for clock control and stop their running game completely. I think we can get in Plummer's head and stop 'em hard. I have pure faith in our guys!!

Texans 21
Denver 17

OK, based on the continued success of my reverse-psychology picks, I once again am forced to state that the Texans can't possibly win this game.

For the Buncos to lose 3 straight (including 2 at home), something truly special would have to happen. They're a talented team and play awesome at home.

Last game Denver's D was so leaky that even a Plummer couldn't plug it. But before someone else Droughns on about this, let me also add that their RB corps IS weakened. I won't Lelie to you and say that this will be easy for the Texans, but I do hope we'll be able to squeak out another road win. Maybe they're due for a Lynching after all.
