Oh Man so close. The fumble by Battle inside the 10 as the Cougars were driving for another TD was gigantic. Great effort by the Coogs though. Lose to Miami 14-13 in the Orange Bowl.

If ya'll want to see some exciting football in Houston you should really come out to Robertson Stadium.

Go Coogs!

It was great that they were so competitive, which is probably why is stung worse that they lost. When Battle fumbled I was pretty sure that was the end but they almost came back again. Oh well, UH football is back and I think anything less that a CUSA championship will be a disappointment.

Let's see...

The Cougars have beaten OklahomaState, AND
they played Miami VERY CLOSE and it was a road/away game.

I am really looking forward to what they are going to do this year!

I must admit that the UH/Grambling game was the first UH game that I attended in about 2 years. When I got there I found out they had a great game day enviroment around Robertson Stadium -- great tailgating, food, music, and just plain FUN!!!

I had such a great time, that I decided to go to the UH/OkSt game, which was awesome!

I watched the UH/Miami game at a sports bar with some friends.

So, I guess you can say that I am a "regular" now. I am definitely a Cougar fan now, and I am going to the UH vs. University of Louisianna game this weekend.

I am really excited about what the Cougars are going to do this year! They are an exciting team to watch, and I am really impressed with the game day environment at the University of Houston.

Always have supported my Alma Mater even when they were 0-11 a couple of years back. While i am pleased with their success to date, I'm wondering what effect this season will have on recruiting, b/c we all know that that's where programs are built. Do we start to get the type of recruits that Texas Tech get or do we start stealing some semi-high profile recruits from A & M/ TCU ?

Also this is Kolb's last year, who do we have that will continue the success?

Blake Joseph is a Freshman QB that has got in a few snaps this season. Competing with him for the QB position next year will be L.J. Castile.
