No hard feelings for Texans

I don't have any hard feeling toward the Texans for not taking me No. 1. I felt like I did everything I could, leading up to the draft. I didn't hold anything back for three years of college and all throughout high school -- I played my heart out. I'm guessing with Domanick Davis' unfortunate injury, there are a lot of questions about the Texans' draft.

I'm guessing this is his way of feeding the media frenzy over this draft pick. They give him a blog on CBS Sportsline and he does all his usual football speak..."taking the Saints to the next level"..."I don't like oysters"....

Then he goes to "I don't have hard feelings towards the Texans...they have a lot of questions about their draft." No, they have one question about their draft. They got high marks for every pick after the first round.

He's whining just like everyone else is now. I used to not like the media scrutiny we were getting for not taking him. Now, since he's piling on, I just don't like him. He's proving himself to be the punk that I already suspected he was.

although just a kid at the time I'll never, never......forget when the JailBlazers passed on Michael Jorden for Larue Martin, this feels alot like that :fireball: you have the chance to aquire the most skilled offensive player in years that could help you in the return game (Texans with Mathias injured have no one, but who would have known that?) the running game (Lundy looks good but Morency is no Davis, but who would have known that too?) in hindsight our most pressing need is exactly the one we passed on (Bush) & he has shown nothing but class, good for New Orleans they needed this break I guess more than Houston :stirpot:

Did I miss the memo where Reggie Bush isn't allowed to say anything about the draft or the Texans?

He could say whatever he wants. Somebody does it every year. Somebody always has a chip on their shoulder because they didn't go higher in the draft.

I'm just sick of hearing the national media talking about how the Texans screwed up. IMO, it's pretty lame for him to pile on as soon as he gets a forum.

The title of the article:Bush Journal: No hard feelings for Texans
Then he goes on to say:"I'm guessing with Domanick Davis' unfortunate injury, there are a lot of questions about the Texans' draft."

To me, the debate over the number 1 pick is a bunch of hype. I'm disappointed that he feeds the hype when he gets a chance...especially for somebody as PR aware as he is.:twocents:

RB might have helped our offensive production yesterday (who knows, it's speculation), but he would have done nothing to prevent the Eagles from scoring 24 points.

Our problem is a pathetic defense, and drafting Mario was a step in that direction (hopefully).

Bush has a right to say what he feels. Reporters are asking him questions, so he can answer or he could appear "arrogant" and avoid the subject. But he could have just blurted out that we suck, which would have been the truth, and the fact that he's being tactful shows he's got some class.
