Howdy ya'll; from a Jaguars fan...

Dante's Inferno

Practice Squad
How's everybody doing? I just arrived home a little bit ago from the Jags incredible victory over the Colts and I gotta tell ya', I'm still very pumped after that RCA Dome victory. Anyway, when I finally get over my "10 Red Bull" supercharge I'm on, I'll post a thread about the upcoming Jags vs. Texans game. For now, though, I just say "Howdy!" and wait for this adrenaline to drop.

As long as it's in good fun Dante, I don't mind. But if it gets nasty, someone may let the PittBull of his chain! This week should actually be a good game!

Sadly, I've experienced a great deal of trolling in my time and on my home board so I do not come to troll. It's just something I do every week, breaking down offense vs. offense, defense vs. defense, and so on. I try to be objective and leave stuff open to discussion. Unfortunatley, my having a party right now affects my ability to type a long post so I guess it'll have to wait 'till morning.

Enjoy your victory Dante. Party on .. .. :spot:
It really wasn't that incredible though, since it easily could have gone either way.
What impressed me was the very quick thinking coach's challenge! I want to see more of that with the Texans... hope they (Capers) took notice. Wiping out that Colt touchdown .. big factor in the game.

Gotta disagree with you Sassy. Anyone who can go beat Indy on their home turf gets my respect.

I watched that one. Wow. What a job by the Jags. Let' see ... two teams with 2 division losses; the Texans with 3. Maybe we'll make it a race. Sunday's game in Houston will be something. Ready to play. Go Texans!

I am looking forward to this weekends game, yesterday was the first Jags game I watched this year....needless to say the defense looked good...I hope our boys got some rest this off week...and studied ALOT of film.I noticed LeftaWitch(Halloween spelling :hehe: )getting banged up a bit...our defense NEEDS to get to him early...and hit the big man HARD :twocents:

Man...this is going to possibly be the best game of the year! I actually thought the Packers game would be and couldn't understad why they wouldn't let us use the Battle Red Day for them on ESPN night but funny how things work out. This battle red day is a must! Go get 'em Texans!!

Yeah, I was very impressed with Jvill also. That was a huge win for them. We definetly have our work cut out for us. This is a defining game to see if our Texans really want to be in the playoff mix. The bye didn't help Indy much. I hope it helped us. Jville looked good but they are beatable.

Smart move by the Texans' front office; you have SO many Pack fans that show up for their road games, the sea of red would not have been 100%. That would have looked silly/bad.

BTW, I'm still waiting for the Texans to sell authentic personalized red jerseys...

silly/bad  there are Packer fans everywhere but not to the point they make Relient turn into Dallas Stadium like last week when there seemed more Steeler fans than Cowboy fans.

also I thought the Texans recently came out with battle red jerseys for sale, the #23 Dunta Robinson looks killer :headbang:

Looked like a whole bunch of Minn fans were at the game. Especially in the Bull Pen.

more Raider Nation fans I think, but still no excuse for being completly over run as was the case of Pittsburgh fans in Dallas. Speaking of fans I thought the Charger fans where the most friendly and non obtrusive. I'm happy for them their team is doing so well, it takes a lot of the pain from the opening day loss to the Chargers

Good to hear from you Mr. Jaguar and great win. Just a polite suggestion? Have your antacids handy, cause the Texans may just give you a little indigestion Sunday! We will also try to return the favor by beating everyone in the division the rest of the season. Sorry, but that does include the J's.

Ditto! That was a huge win, and I'm sure the Jags will be coming in here skyhigh. I view this game as a tossup. What is interesting is the Jags might have a little of the 2003 Panthers Karma. It seems like they win every game in the last minute. But, then again, good teams find a way to win at the end, so kudos to the Jags. The Texans need to be on their A game.

And, the challenge was HUGE in that game yesterday. The Colts probably win without that challenge. Quick thinking by Delrio.

That was my point. IF that was us yesterday, would Capers have reacted so quickly? From experience, I just don't think so.

Us fans have to show up 70,000 strong to make as much mayhem for the Jags offense as possible. We need every little chance to make a difference, and disrupting the opposing QB and O-line is a great place to start.

and welcome Dante's Inferno! Glad to have you visit our forums. Our teams are .500 against each other, and they always play tough. It should be a great game!

Don't forget the revenge factor. Jville has acted like a bunch of jerks in our previous matchups with cheap shots and taunting. I know for a fact plenty of Texans remember this and cant wait to put there hats on some of the Jville players.

Hello to everyone another Jag fan visiting but not trolling. Believe me we are not over looking this game. You guys have agreat young team (sounds familar). Your posters seem pretty good and alway love to see passion in any fan. I don't think we will come out flat but here's to a good game with no injuries.

P.S. JWWIllis easy man that anger this early in the week will eat you up!

I think it's time everyone gets over the "cheap shots" from last year. It was last year, it's done and over with, this is a new season.
