This is insane. There isn't a single commercial break that doesn't include Peyton Manning. What is this guy pulling in from endoresments? It's got to literally dwarf whatever pitiful wage the NFL pays him.

I don't hate Peyton Manning because we've never beaten the Colts and I don't hate him because I envy his talent when compared to our own at the QB position. I hate him because I can't get that jughead looking goon off of my television.
 
I like the commercials with him and Eli Manning. I like the one where he's wearing the black mascot and endorsing a phone. Get rid of the Gatorade one with him coming out of a football though!
 
I love those Peyton Manning commercials...... they're perfect, and I think they fit Peyton. That's how I imagine he'd be, if I knew him.

I also think Peyton's the best QB in the league right now. I just wish he wasn't playing in the AFC South. Isn't Indy up North somewhere??

I like the one with the big heads....... & I really liked the ones where he is the fan of regular guys........

I love them too, he seems to be comfortable making fun of himself. I loved the one when he gets the guy stocking groceries to autograph the bread.

I thought that I was the only one that has to do something with my TV, especially with the commercial where he is on the field during a "game." His voice is one of the most annoying out there......with no "inflection." That on top of the fact that he has no natural acting ability finally has me understanding why "closed caption" was developed.

I also love how on the one where he's on the field, the score is like 42-0 against Tennesse. I don't love the colts, but anyone who makes fun of the Titans is awesome!
 
Lets see....

In the playoffs, refs try to break out every possible rule and any exceptions to the rule so that Colts can win.....

Payton is pretty much on every NFL commercial.....

Hmmmm... I wonder how this season plays out. I wonder if the NFL has a shoe in already.

Two words for you, brotha': mute button. :superman:

I have instilled an instinctive reflex to immediately hit the mute on my remote the first micro-second that my program breaks to commercials. I've done it for so long that I can barely recall a time when I had to suffer the torment of TV advertising.

I bet my kid has it hardwired into his DNA now, because I've been muting commercials for over 20 years now.
 
Some of the commercials are funny and he's a well spoken guy; clean cut.

I think he probably represents the "All American" type to the advertisers and he comes from a famous family.
 
He was the only football player to rank in the top 10 of highest paid athletes. That's attributed to his endorsement dollars.

Yeah, that one is great too. I like the fact that he doesn't take himself too seriously. I know that we don't really know any of the pro athletes, but he just seems like an average joe, who just happens to be a great QB. I hope he eventually wins the "Big One" so that people will lay off him, of course they'll probably say he should have won more. Of course having said that, it is annoying watching him run through his routine before every snap, kinda reminds me of Nomar before every pitch.
