Notre Dame vs. Georgia Tech game thread

Who do you guys think is going to win on Saturday and what do you think the score is going to be?

I'm thinking 42- 28 for ND.

Their defense still doesn't impress me, so they will give up their share of points, but they can put points up themselves. I think this will be a great game.

30-24

Calvin Johnson is going to put huge numbers up against that defense. Then again, Brady Quinn will do the same against GT.

I want to make the homer pick and go with the upset, but I can't quite do it. I do think Tech will give ND fits, but come up just short.

ND - 41
GT - 38

I think ND will win something like 31-21. I think ND will lose early but not this game. If this was last years GT team than I think they would have a good chance but they lost to much on defense to win. Calvin will have a good game but I don't think he will be enough to win by himself.

I think ND wins by 21 points, but that is not the question for me...

Who are the key players other than Brady Quinn that we are suppose to watch for?

Calvin Johnson (WR) GT
Jeff Samardzija (WR) ND
Darius Walker (RB) ND
Rhema McKnight (WR) ND
Tom Zibkowski (S) ND

Those are the good players I know of.

I want to pick the upset, but I can't. Georgia Tech's potential has a short ceiling as long as Reggie Ball is their QB.

Other key players(Notre Dame anyways):

Victor Abiamiri (DE)
Sam Young (OL)

only reason I am saying Sam Young is that he is starting as a true freshmen and is considered the best OL prospect last year by many coming into college football.

Quinn is looking lost out there. GT's Defensive Q appears to have scouted ND very well. I hope the Irish can get it together. The worst part is Brady has been so far off on his deep throws.

My god that was scary. I woulda hated to see their National Championship hopes be lost in the first game. The first half hurt to see how they couldnt pick up the blitz'. Quinn had no time at all in the pocket to throw. I'm just glad ND pulled it out.
