Carr: I don't want skin cancer, get me out of the sun

joetexan

Practice Squad
On NFL Network, they are showing a show on training camp. They were talking about the hot summer, and David Carr got on there, saying something along the lines of, "They better get me out of the sun. I don't want to get skin cancer. I'll sue and the stadium won't be Reliant Stadium, it'll be David Carr Stadium."

I think he was joking......I think.

For those interested in seeing it, it comes on again tonight at 12:30 a.m., and again tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. It's in the first 10 minutes.

Let's assume none of us ever typed a post in a Carr thread ever. What would you think? I would say send his arse back to where he came from.

2 points.

1. I try not to get too much sun either.. this is a very hot and sunny area and its not healthy to spend too much time in it.

2. he was obviously joking.

Carr played his college career here in Fresno, ungodly amount of sun and heat. He was just joking around I'm sure.

Fire his *****!

I've heard he also hates puppies and old people and gets weekly pedacures.

What a sorry piece of crap.

"bring me a sandwich and a 6-pack"

Dude back away from you computer, you are starting to be a Wonger clone with the obvious Carr hatred. It's going to be a very long season for you if Carr is the starter all year. Come to terms with it, welcome it, be assimulated in the Kubiak thought process.

After the interview, Carr drinks a bottle of water. When finished, David has the option of disposing of the empty into one of two trash receptacles. The 1st, a mere 5 feet away. The other, a good 15 yard toss. Of course, Carr goes the safe route and chucks the refuse in the closest bin. Typical.

Later, Carr went home to his family. Again. How much longer does this fan base have to put up with this slacker?

(This post is dedicated to dwilt72. Yes, I'm still an idiot.)

He lost a bet. Plus, you have to admit that it's hilarious.

I am neither. He gets 1 more year for me to evaluate him properly.

Dude, that's funny right there..lmao. I'll give rep points just for the whit involved..lmao.

Guys.... I can't wait until we start worrying about what D. Carr says instead of what he does... game day is coming!

You know I am joking right? I could care less what the guy says and if anyone actually thought he was serious about getting out of the sun or filing a law suit against the Texans, they are out of their frigin' mind. I am anxious for the season to start so people can just enjoy the roller coaster ride we call "THE SEASON"! Honestly, my blood pressure goes through the roof every game, I almost died this preseason twice! :thud:

I'm right there with you. My family hated me on game day. Everytime they'd lose I'd be pissed the rest of the day. Towards the end of the season I wasn't as bad because I was used to losing by then. Another season's right around the corner and I'm hoping for a different attitude around the house this year.:cowboy1:

Ditto.

I have to admit that a part of me wants us to be so bad that we get the number one draft pick again. Why? We have a new GM. (Finally!) I sure do wish we had gotten Jay Cutler.

But I look for us to improve this year. Boy wouldn't it be awesome to beat the Eagles right at the start?

Mad for the rest of the day? Are you kidding me? I was borderline suicidal for the rest of the week! I was under 24 hour supervision and heavily sedated, and I do mean heavily! Hopefully we will never experience the 7 layers of hell we went through last season. ( I don't think my marriage is strong enough and my employees are loyal enough to deal with me in that manner agian) LOL

HaHa! I hear ya!

Why? I expected it. How's that? Because we (once again) had no O-line (among other things). Thanks to that sorry GM we used to have.

We need them for our O-line.

Our O-line will be fine this year. It's the blitzes that need to be picked up better. I think people blame the line more than what they're guilty for. I used to be one of them. There's been one sack this preseason that's been the lines fault. The other two were blitzes that the RB failed to pick up.:stirpot:

Well, now that you mention it.... I am available to play at the start of the season, but I would prefer to play line backer or tight end. I'm around 6'3" and 235 lbs. Maybe small for a LB but I would make a good tight end. I could probably bulk up a little more to about 245 or 250 with a work out routine that the Texans have. Hell, I've put on a solid 15 to 20 lbs in the past 2 months on my routine. The only thing is they test for anabolic steroids...could forsee a problem in that area...lol...:muscles: :spy:

Finally, I agree with David Carr on something.

I don't like the sun either, unless it is at a beautiful beach with gorgeous gals in bikinis. Otherwise, I am just the Hollywood Vampire.

Not really a fan for the sun. The June glum in LA is very nice...
