Not a good night for Bush & Young !

Hopefully Mario has a good night at Denver, not to good for the #2 & #3 picks tonight in the 06 draft, Vince threw a interception and Reggie fumbled the ball, but was recovered by a fellow Saint..........

I feel for Vince, he really could have grown sooo much with McNair...Right now he has no one to really learn from....The only shining spot of all this for Mario, he can't do any worse then Vince and Bush tonite...lol

vince is raw, everyone knows this. he's a project with big upside. he'll need at least a year on the bench to get up to speed learning the pro game.

I'm not surprised that I have not seen an article on ESPN that exclusively mentioned Reggie's not-so-Heisman performance today. Actually, check this out.

Reggie Bush never broke free on a big run as he did in his debut against Tennessee. He spun and danced his way through difficult runs of 14 and 8 yards in the third quarter, but he also lost a fumble on the Colts 27, stopping yet another potential scoring drive. Bush finished with 22 yards rushing on five carries and 20 yards receiving on five catches.

They manage to pimp Reggie no matter how average his performance is. Funny how simple words can be maneuvered to serve a purpose.

ESPN = Not worth the time of day

They have to pimp him at least until his current round of endorsement contracts run out. If he doesn't perform, the gloves will come off after they've made their money off his name and face.

No way a young coach trying to build a team would draft a guy like Bush. Reggie Bush? Barry Bonds? You don't want your star to be bigger than your team when the team is otherwise weak. Recipe for a decade of mediocrity.

safe to say Morency and/or wali will have more than 22 yards rushing on 5 carries
and also safe to say Mario will have more tackles than bush:bananasplit:

oooooohh did you hear that? Reggie fumbled. Oh no. Good thing you guys didn't pick him.

Nobody really bashes Bush, because we didn't draft him, they do it because the "tards" that work at ESPN, who seem to think the general public is even bigger "tards" and that they will buy and actually believe what they are saying.

If I was running for a political office ESPN would certainly be my campaign managers, they certainly know how to spin mediocrity.

"That was a crazy 9 yard run!!!.....I've done seen enough, Wow I'm convinced!!! - Stuart Scott___________4 carries 7 yards

That was a extreme low of many lows from ESPN, the loss of competition from anyone else has really destroyed their product, they don't even try to report whats really going on.

My dream is to create the ENYLASN channel

(EVERYONE but NEW YORK and LA SPORTS NETWORK)

You can have the NY and LA media markets, I'll take everyone in between and actually report the real stories and whats really going on in this country....

Yes very true, ESPN was quick to pass over the fumble, like it never happend, then on to what he did so great the rest of the night, but if Mario has a bad play tonight against Denver I am sure they will stay on it the rest of the night showing it in the hourly highlights over and over.....ESPN is a joke, only negative images about the Texans and the draft, I wonder just how long will it last...........You notice how quick they are to drop the scandel Reggie was in with some agent, and his Mom stayed in a 1/2 million dollar home while playing there at USC, like it never happend....but if Mario was into something bad ESPN and everyone would be there bashing the Texans for drafting him.....Oh well it does not even matter he is our #1 pick, and I am glad he is here, there will always be talk about this draft, till one pick seems to prevail over the other, Matt leinhart might have a great year and I'm sure ESPN will be quick to say the Texans should of picked him, that's just the way it goes..........

It wasn't recovered by a Saint.

I thought that McAllister looked much better then bush, but its like when Brees played for the Chargers. Its only going to take one excuse for them to cut you after they draft your replacement.
