Anyone know if the game is only being shown on the NFL Network? My wife is making me go somewhere that has no NFL Network...:challenge

I would start limping around and blaming your hamstring. It is on the NFL network.

Good idea, after she wakes up, I'll trip over the dog, I am clumsy anyway...p.s. congrats on hitting the 6000 mark :redtowel:

ABC is airing it here in Houston even though it will be an NFL network broadcast.

I can't wait!! This game here is going to be a HUGE measure as to where we are at as a team. I hate to look too much into pre season... but its well known the Broncos take this 3rd pre season game on like its the opener. We are doing the same and the starters will play up to 3 quarters.

There is a ton of optimism going around these days. Lets hope Carr gets protection and gets off to a good consistent start tonight.

GO TEXANS!!!!!!!!!!:texflag:

Thanks...I am still thinking about tripping over the dog to get out of housework though since I am on vacation for the next two weeks...I'll let you know how that works out...:crutch:

SAN ANTONIO FANS: we will be going to the LION and ROSE tonight on Blanco and 410. where central park used to be.

What do we predict the first half score to be?

You need to fire her, or do what KT says, fake some injury ;)

I think God is punishing me just for thinking about doing it. I've got a pipe that busted earlier outside after I posted that, now I am going to have to fix it after lunch. Just got back from Lowe's...:brickwall

Perfect excuse then, tell her to go without you since you have to fix the house. You can even tell the wife that it's all my fault, whatever it takes for you to watch the game live :)

What are people on Austin TV schedules supposed to be doing if they don't have NFL Network? So far it doesn't look like its on ABC or CBS here.

I guess so. The problem with that is I'm the only one thats 21 out of my friends, so unless we find somewhere that will let them in I don't really know what I'm going to do.

ABC 13 is the only reason I still have Time Warner right now. had this game been only on NFL Network in Houston, I would have switched to satellite.

I am liking our preseason schedule. we have played teams that are predominately run, predominately pass, to a team that runs bootlegs and such and I like that because we are going to have an agressive defense, yet we have to stay in control.

I am liking the different styles of offenses so far to guage our new look defense

I'm watching the pregame............ anyone else developing a deep seated hatred for Marshall Faulk??

NFLNET PRE-game show...

It's clear that Falk will be on the Reggie side. But if you listen to what he's saying his point of view is very narrow. Instead of looking from the standpoint of building a team. He's looking at it as a way to improve the offense (or specifically the running game); i.e. narrow!

Whether adding Reggie would win a title is beside his point. All that matters to him is if you improve the running game.

At least Mooch tried to give a thoughtful analysis of why the Texans selected Mario. Faulk went to San Diego State. Bush is from San Diego. Both are running backs. This shouldn't be a surprise.

I just wanted to ask if you guys think the texans are gonna be affected by playing in the thick air of denver?

I don't think anyone has ever been affected by Denver's thick air. The thin air however, might cause some minor problems with shortness of breath.

I just want to see Carr drop back into the pocket, set, plant his feet, and hit a receiver more than 10 yards downfield.

(I try not to ask for too much)

The thin air has to be sweet for a kicker ..... Brown's kickoff was 6 yards deep in the endzone ,....
