Kris Brown...you're kidding me.

Kris really needs to start paying attention. He didn't look all that interested last week and that first missed kick was just bad...

KRIS BROWN MUST GO!!! I'VE SEEN ENOUGH:brickwall :brickwall
lol

I yelled...."Cut that Mofo" right after he missed that kick.

then later I said if he misses this 48 yarder he is gone....boom right down the middle.

either way, the Texans need to explore options at that position. If not this season, next off season.

I predicted before the game that we would see some competition in camp this week and I'm sticking to it. Brown is a below-average NFL kicker.

Mason Crosby as our 2nd round pick next year! I'm serious.

Someone's going to say it, so it might as well be me...
Name a better option who's available to replace him.
I agree that if we find a better kicker, we should replace Brown... I just don't think there's a better option out there right now. At least none that I know of.

I think Brown has to go. I feel so nervous with him kicking and I know he is too. If you saw him in the close-ups before he kicks, he takes LOTS of deep breaths. Kickers cant be that nervous...their confidence is more important than their leg.

Good to see others coming around regarding Brown's inconsistencies. Last year he was a train wreck. Looks like more of the same this year. My only frustration with the new regime is their refusal to bring someone in to challenge this dude.

NFL total access just ran a story on an author who is in Bronco training camp to learn how to place kick.

Maybe, we could bring him in for some competition.

What's messed up is that every time Kris Brown lines up for a kick, I get that same feeling that I get when Brad Lidge comes into the game lately...

I was thinking the exact same thing ... I liken his situation to BLidge since Pujols took him deep last year in the NLCS at minute Maid. KBrown hasn't been remotely the same since last year. It's a mental thing IMO. One way or the other we need results, not excuses.

maybe he wants adrian peterson

It's one thing to lose some games when your team is lousy and end up with a first round draft pick, and it's another thing entirely to lose some games that prevent you from going to the playoffs! That would be sick! Personally, I'm hoping he gets his head on straight and this won't be a problem during regular season. But, everytime I see him miss, I get that gut feeling we need to be "beating the bushes" (no pun intended) looking for another kicker!

Myself: At least they'll come out w/ 3 on this drive.

Nephew: Yeah, that's true.

Dad: Nothing is guaranteed in football. He may not make that kick, you nevere know.

Reaction after the miss

Mine: YOU'VE GOTTA BE FREAK'N KIDDING

Nephew: :shocked NO WAY!!!

Dad: You see, I told you.

Myself: No need to shank kicks anymore, Kris.

reggie bush. lol.
sorry. i'll stop.

ive stated this last week after the KC game. Kris brown will be our downfall. Him alone will lose us 2-3 games. Therefore we will win 6-7 games instead of 9-10 that we should of won. with him kicking, there are going to be some heartbreakers.
