Seeing the Texans attack the QB and actually blitz is just as refreshing as our new offense doing well. Most of the posts are about the offense, but how about the defense? Under Fangio it was much too conservative with not enough blitzing. Under Richard Smith, in just two games, you can already get the feel that our defense is going to put much more pressure on the QB. Man, I can't wait for the regular season! :redtowel:

Keep in mind they are not showing all their packages in the preseason (just as the offense)...these are trial runs. It will be AT LEAST 1/4 better in the regular season.
 
As defenses typically come around faster than offenses, it will likely be why we are in games early on. Seems to be coming around nicely if the last two weeks are good indications.
