Best part of chiefs game...

was seeing the defense getting 5 sacks, while the offense gave up 0 sacks. Oh yeah no injuries was nice also.

Im still amazed... i slapped myself multiple times just in case it was a dream lol.

Well, don't get too excited, because I just heard on ESPN that Reggie Bush had 7 sacks (he now plays both sides of the ball) and he cured cancer.

and vince had 4 field goals and found osama ben laden.:pigfly:

Not only did we not give up any sacks, we had virtually no pressure on the QB in the first half.

Something the coaches will chew the players out about im sure on monday.
they're gonna hear it from coach karma.

We gave up 0 sacks! Man im not used to that. Hopefully if the O-Line is good from now on, Carr might actually preform well.

you do know I mean our OLine kept the pressure off our QB in the first half.....

I think our D had good pressure on their QB, considering we weren't blitzing.

I heard that the only player who actually tackled Reggie was Vince Young, who sacked 3 different Titan QBs. :shoot:

Don't get me started..... :brickwall

The best part was the Benni Joppru catch, by far. It had so many implications. It really goes to show how new this Texans team really is.

As for individual performances, it's hard to choose. The most important was probably Wali Lundy. We now know how our RB situation is.... looking good.

Nobodies fault...... LJ is a great back, and the Chiefs are a great running team...... I don't believe anyone expected us to shut them out completely with our new DLine, Coach, 4-3, and what not. Most of the yards were hard fought, and we made a few mental mistakes to give up the long runs.

far as I know, we held them to less than 100 yards, and we can only get better.

Best part of the Chiefs game .... getting in the W column . Nothing will make ya forget 2-14 faster than Winning ...... even if its JUST preseason . :twocents:

Let's be realistic. Vince Young had already cured cancer.

We held the Chiefs to 172 total yards of offense.... which leads the league so far in preseason. Kinda weird thinking that our defense was capable of that. I love it!

I actually stopped the TV at this point and made sure my wife was looking and knew what she was looking at.

Didnt he find the weapons of mass destruction too?

It's amazing what good coaching and the right placement can do for a group of players. It's still too early to say for certain, but it looks like last year's coaches were waaaay off on their coaching strategy. I looked at preseason game 1 (vs. Denver) from last year. We gave up two sacks. It will be interesting to compare our sacks this year to last year.
