2-3 to 3-3

or we dominate for the whole game.. create alot of turnovers and win it easily in the end.

Oh wait.. that was LAST WEEKS game.. im sorry we dont talk about games we play well.. we only pick apart the current weeks game.

your right.. coming back from a 21 point deficit and tying the game sucks.. we are so terrible.. we dont have a chance against anyone.. we might as well just call the NFL now and tell them we wont be showing up for any more of our games.

we played a good game. we SHOULD have won but we made some mistakes.. not even big glaring mistakes.. just small strategic mistakes.

We are so obviously a better team this year.. we should be happy. Things are only going to get better for us.

and.. OH YAH.. our 2 rookies on defense had great games.. more and more they are coming up with the big plays.

The way the offense is playing and the way the Titans defense seems to be reeling I think it's very likely the Texans go to the bye week at 3-3. Going into the season I was hoping for 4-2. There are still winnable games on the post bye schedule (Browns, Bears, Titans(home), Jags(home), Packers). That isn't to say the Texans can't win at Indy, at Jacksonville, at NY, at Denver, or at home against Indy. I just feel those will be tougher games.

8-8 is still possible.

were playing good enough to think maybe we can contend for a playoff spot this year. but we already let 2 games get away from us, this one and sd. we also won one maybe we could of lost, kc. cant let games keep slipping away from us. with this style of just trying to stay close looks like we are not going to get many lopsided victories.

sd might be better than we thought. the 3 teams we lost to are pretty good, going by records. sd 3 and 2, detroit 3 and 1, minn 3 and 1.

I didn't see the game today (I was busy at the Ren Fest with the family) but I'm going to watch it later tonight. From what I have heard and read about it thus far it sounds like the Texans did a pretty good job overall. They're improving and if the improvement continues on schedule then the Texans "should" pick up the majority of their wins in the second half of the season. The fact that we got within an overtime of a 3 game win streak this early in the year is a good thing IMO.

I really think we will beat the Titans next week. They have a short week, and I really like how we match up on paper. Really, the only major thing that I worry about is the Titans running game. I think they are the best rushing team in the NFL right now (according to stats), and our run defense has only been competent. Other times, pretty bad (Kansas City game).

I'm also worried about our O-line. We couldn't rush today, and I'm hard pressed to think that it's DD's fault. Our skill players have pulled us out to get wins, but it would be really nice for our O-line to come up big and make it easier on Carr and the rest of our offense.

Tennessee is always going to be a struggle, especially when they're at home. I don't think Capers and Palmer are being too conservative at this point in the season. I think alot of the redundant run plays and check downs are the result of Carr's decision making at the line of scrimmage and during a passing play. It seems like he'd rather hand it to DD or dump it off on a short route rather than go deep until we're behind. If we could go into the bye at 3-3 it could really be a momentum builder for our guys. If the O-line and DD can get back into a rhythm, and Carr keeps lighting up defenses we'll have an interesting game next sunday. Here's to hoping the defense keeps playing aggressively.

I agree with what Grid said.

So what if we lost to the Vikings. I look more at the fortitude and never give up attitude of our team. We took a team that is picked to go to and win the super bowl to overtime after being down 2 points.

The Titans won't be an easy win. It'll be a challenge, but I feel we'll be ready to play and it'll be a good game.

I agree. We will beat the Titans. It would be nice to give old "Bottom-Line Bud Adams" a kick in the pants. These Texans remind me of the oilers in the mid 70's. We've got alot of heart.
