When should Mr. McNair start accepting apologies from the analysts who called him an idiot and things of that nature after the draft?

Once the D-Line starts blowing up offenses. I was thinking, maybe we should have Mario deliver the Crow Under Glass in person.

Try right now, never, or anywhere in between, and with equal grace. I get the distinct impression that Mr. McNair is a class guy and will not hold petty grudges as that would just diminish him as a person, and I'm sure he understands that.

In fact I'm sure he neither expects nor wants apologies. I would be disapointed in him if he even gave issues like this a second thought. A man does what he thinks is best and moves on, who needs to external approval for this?

If someone does or says something that warrants an apology to a person, it is not the offended that is diminished but the offender. Let them live with their pettiness, I would be quite happy if all we stayed above it all.

analyst get paid to bash sports figures, mcnair is the owner and is accountable only to the fans and stockholders.

noone needs to apologize for anything, these things allways work themselves out. the writer/analysts will equalize their oppinions with the facts eventually
based on some unknown formula wich we arent privy to. :tease:

You don't have to worry about someone apologizing when you know you are right.

I called this one a month before the draft and said it would be a big reason why they wouldn't take Bush.

I'll take a winning record over an apology any day.

Sportswriters never admit they were wrong. I think that's one of the first rules of sports journalism or something.

Just curious as to others thoughts... Not putting this on mcnair as much as the analysts who were bad mouthing. wondering when others might find it an acceptable/appropriate time for them to admit that they might have been wrong.
