Cowboys | Texas Stadium gets a new roof

Eric Aasen, of the Dallas Morning News, reports crews are putting the finishing touches on the new and improved roof for Texas Stadium, current home of the Dallas Cowboys, which is now covered with a bright white coating. Gone are the days when the top was shrouded in dirty shades of white, gray and rust. The roof, with its trademark hole, should be "substantially complete" Monday, July 10, said Steve Little, president of K POST Co., which is in charge of the project. The Irving City Council awarded a $643,000 contract to K POST, although the Cowboys are paying for it.

I thought they were moving too..yet spent a little over a half million on painting it... yet I don't really keep up with Cowboy stuff

Have you ever tried to paint a toilet bowl. "Stuff" sticks.....attracts flies....then starts smelling real bad.:rolleyes:
