First you line everyone up and get all there time and data,,,then you put them in coverage with receivers,,,you take the best in coverage and assign them position!Why?Because its all you fugg'n have!You pick out your 2 best and let them fight...I can't believe this team don't have MLBers...What the heck is going on?We had five last year!You people need to quit writing all this spam..We added 4 or five LBers and we only have 3 positions plus we drafted one...where the ------ ----- are they?

I'm mad and I hope everyone knows why........If another LBer comes on this team I think he should take one coaches job and be the biggest coverup since watergate ,,,,plus he best have a position!You guys keep messing around and i'll go get Dat Nguyen ,,Dexter Coakley AND and pick up Al Singleton when he's released and field a #1 defense...The beauty of it is Ryan will be sitting on the sideline watching every move Al makes waiting for his annual 4th game injury so he can cement himself into the starting job for he thinks years to come...

If were going to bring in players let get players that we know canb help,,we have to much cluster already..

Now,,, Hello?Get your stop watch out because we don't want something someone else has already done for us...I'm mad!and ready to fire someone......You guys keep looking at a cup half empty...Your not going to find LBers better then what we already have this time of year...

I don't see the problem with bringing in as much competition as possible. Isn't that what camp is for? Most of these guys will be gone in 2 months, but why not at least look at them?

Buddy, calm yourself down. I really don't understand what you are mad for. It is not even training camp yet. We need lots of competition everywhere. We have 2 MLB's on the roster right now in Cowart and Rainer. And Wong should play into the mix when he gets off the PUP list. Relax bro.

When in the past did we have a MLB?

Last I checked teams don't get rid of their MLB's until age/injury concerns arise.

Maybe it's just me, but I have a real problem trying to follow a train of thought in all of Thunder's posts. Lots of passion, but can't seem to make heads or tails of what he/she is saying.
 
I agree with BlueThunder!!! (I'm just not sure what on.) :um:

Maybe he/she wants us to get more competition, like CBs, but feels it's a waste for it to be linebackers. Does it matter this time of year? Is there any total # of players allowed at all? I don't even know.

I say no to bring in what they've brought in,.Yes Sam Cowart is a smashmouth in your face type player but is he going to bring any more then what we already have,,If were going to pick up players lets bring in something different..It cost money to bring in player to look at and I really don't see any upgrades from what we already have.All its going to do is force players out and if we really have a LBer problem then why not go ahead and try to trade some and get players that really fit what we need..

Rick Smith is here now,so we can start looking for speedy 43 LBers that will actually upgrade...

What are your thoughts on Davey Carr???
 
I'm giving David Carr another chance.If he can't win this year then he was the biggest bust since Couch!I just hope the coaches take him back to being a rookie bus driver and make the whole team get the win.To much has been blamed on Carr and a team should be able to win with less.Yes he will have to make a play here and there but he shouldn't have to make every play..


I would rather talk about the top 10 pick last year..:gathering:

What are we going to do with this guy?
Are we going to pay him top 10 :money: to warm the bench and never see the field?
How far will a year set him back,when most player usually have a 3 year window before they see the door?
If were giving up on him shouldn't we look for a trade for maybe a second?
Do we cut Payne or Smith because we had to bring in a starter?
Will we carry a 4 DT rotation this year?
Why did we bring in another 34 DE rather then a 43 DT?
I know Payne made the cut and his contract had a lot to do with it,,otherwise we may have been better off signing the big daddy at mininium,,but where does Robaire fit in with a top 10 pick there?
These are the questions I have,,,,,,,i'm just trying to figure out what the real master plan is..

Did you think of that yourself? Davey Carr is hilarious.

It reminds of that reporter that kept referring to Jim Everett as Chrissy Everett. It made him so mad, it is on tape and is great. Everett told him never to call him Chrissy. They started the interview and the first word out of his mouth was Chrissy. Classic!

1) Travis Johnson was the 16th pick in the draft, and that was way too high for him. Stop calling him a top-10 pick.
2) Travis Johnson is not getting paid a whole lot of money yet, he is counting less against the cap than Mario, Weaver, Robaire, Payne, and Peek.
3) Until Travis Johnson earns his playing time he won't and shouldn't play, our new staff doesn't care what draft pick the old regime wasted on him, if he's not the best option for our team to be on the field then he won't be out there, and right now he's at best our 4th-best DT.
4) We will not really have a 4 DT rotation, Payne and Robaire Smith play the same DT spot and Weaver and TJ/Malone play the other DT spot, so it's not really a 4-man rotation.
 
glad to see everybody else doesnt have a clue what TB is on about...i honestly have never seen as bad a lead post than the 1 at the top of this thread
