Imagine this defence.....

In next years draft I think we will be in the 5-10 range, in perfect possision to snag Paul Puzluzney (sp?).

This guy at MLB with DeMeco at one OLB and Greenwood at the other.
Not to mention our new and supposedly killer D-Line, with Babin-Weaver-Johnson-Williams.

And even further progression from a young talented secondary, with the likes of Dunta, P-Buc(maybe), Earl, and C.C.

To me. that unit could easily turn into one of the top 3 defences in the league in at least a season or two. With 6 first rounders & 3 second rounders and talented finds from later in the draft, I just feel we are setting ourselves up for somthing great in the future. Thoughts?

LOL... it's defense, not defence unless you're from U.K.

Anyway, I'm thinking Texans will win 6-7 games next season so they will draft in #10 -#15 position. Depending on performance of secondary and LB corps, I'll would prioritize Positions of need as follows:
1. CB
2. S
3. LB

Hopefully, Texans' defense will improve to top half of NFL this season.:homer:

Yeah I'd like to have a high draft pick but I would be more than willing to trade a high draft pick for a good winning season

I don't think we would use a 1st on a LB, plus we will have to see how his knee is. We NEED FS/SS Laron Landry!

Paul was my guy for this years draft after we ransomed some team for Bush. Then he got hurt. He is a stud, but this is a serious injury. I don't know how much, if at all he'll actually play next year, and I can almost garentuee he will not be at the same level as he was prior to his injury. Think Eric Winston in this case. He has all the same talent, but he is hindered by this knee. He will not go in the first anymore, and he will be a steal later. Remember, Winston was a top 10 lock prior to his injury, we stole him with the 2nd pick of the 3rd round. If we treat this the same way, and we look at this in prospective, there is no need to reach on him in the first.

Agreed! it would be awesome to get Paul in a later round.

Paul is rated better than hawk and won the butkus award. Which goes to the best LB in college. If he plays half as well as he did last year, he will be a top 6 pick.

He's a great player but his past injury scares me and he could be a risk that high in the draft. That's as of now though. If he can recover from his injury and play at 100% all year and play well, I would love to have him. I think we really need to address the secondary early though.

Alright then, the Eagles can pick him.

Paul should have been rated higher than Hawk, because IMO Hawk has BUST written all over his hyped up bum. Unfortunatly, the last time you looked at the "rankings" Paul still had 2 healthy ACL's.

1 - S LaRon Landry (LSU)

2 - CB Leon Hall (Michigan)

3 - Desmond Bishop (Cal)
I'm just not big on Landry. I don't even feel like going over drafting options until we are like halfway through our season.

And I'm usually one of the most active draft posters we have on this board. I love the draft, but c'mon, its not even TC yet.
