'Skins Taylor beats jail time with the ole No Contest Plea

"MIAMI -- Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor reached an agreement with prosecutors to drop felony charges against him and pleaded no contest Thursday to two misdemeanors in an assault case, avoiding any jail time and the possibility of missing any of the upcoming NFL season."

I dunno.....but don't think there's anything like having the big bucks and connections to get a punk off the hook, no matter 'bout guilt or innocense.

Aggrivated assualt is nothing big ? ..... Another professional athlete gets off .... As a general rule these people live outside of societies rules . I for one am sick of it . You screw up you pay the price just like the guy next door . Just because you are a celebrety doesnt put you above your fellow man nor the laws of this country .

if this had been joe nobody instead of sean taylor it wouldn't even have been brought to court(he wouldn't have been charged). based on your conclusion i doubt you read up on the case. il give you a link to a good article it if you want it. sean taylor's a fool to be involved with these people but he doesnt deserve to go to jaill for 46 years

No , I havent followed the case nor read much on it but .... I was generalizing . And over the past several years many athlete's have gotten away with things the average person wouldnt.

maddict is right. yes, maybe if this is some joe sixpack, he would've got the book thrown at him. but then again, if it wasn't sean taylor, this incident wouldn't have even been reported. he's more the victim here than anyone.
