In following with the trend of my other two polls, here's one for WRs. I listed my top 18 options so vote and comment:

1984 Mark Clayton - 15 games, 73 catches, 1389 yards (19.0), 18 TD (2nd year in the league, 23 years old team went 14-2 and made the Super Bowl but lost).

1986 Jerry Rice - 16 games, 86 catches, 1570 yards (18.3), 15 TD (2nd year in the league, 23 years old, team went 10-5-1, a sign of things to come for the next two decades).

1987 Jerry Rice - 12 games, 65 catches, 1078 yards (16.6), 22 TD (3rd year in the league, 24 yeards old, team went 13-2, not a tone of catches or yards but still the single-season receiving TD record, and accomplished in only 12 games).

1989 Jerry Rice - 16 games, 82 catches, 1483 yards (18.1), 17 TD (5th year in the league, 26 years old, team went 14-2 and won the Super Bowl).

1993 Jerry Rice - 16 games, 98 catches, 1503 yards (13.3), 15 TD (9th year in the league, 30 years old, team went 10-6).

1994 Jerry Rice - 16 games, 112 catches, 1499 yards (13.4), 13 TD (10th year in the league, 31 years old, team went 13-3 and won the Super Bowl, phenomenal year for someone his age).

1995 Jerry Rice - 16 games, 122 catches, 1848 yards (15.1), 15 TD (11th year in the league, 32 years old, team went 11-5, set new record for single-season receiving yards that still stands and did it at an age most WRs are retired by).

1995 Isaac Bruce - 16 games, 119 catches, 1781 yards, 13 TD (2nd year in the league, 23 years old, team went 7-9, would have set new receiving yards record had Rice not beaten it the same year).

1995 Herman Moore - 16 games, 123 catches, 1686 yards (13.7), 14 TD (5th year in the league, 26 years old, team went 10-6, set new record for most catches in a season).

1995 Cris Carter: 16 games, 122 catches, 1371 yards (11.2), 17 TD (9th year in the league, 30 years old, team went 8-8).

1998 Randy Moss - 16 games, 69 catches, 1313 yards (19.0), 17 TD (1st year in the league, 21 years old, team went 15-1, phenomenal year for a rookie WR).

1999 Marvin Harrison - 16 games, 115 catches, 1663 yards (14.5), 12 TD (4th year in the league, 27 years old, team went 13-3).

2001 Terrell Owens - 16 games, 93 catches, 1412 yards (15.2), 16 TD (6th year in the league, 28 years old, team went 12-4).

2002 Marvin Harrison - 16 games, 143 catches, 1722 yards (12.0), 11 TD (7th year in the league, 30 years old, 10-6, crushed previous record for single-season catches, 3rd in single-season receiving yards).

2003 Torry Holt - 16 games, 117 catches, 1696 yards (14.5), 12 TD (5th year in the league, 27 years old, team went 12-4).

2003 Randy Moss - 16 games, 111 catches, 1632 yards (14.7), 17 TD (6th year in the league, 26 years old, team went 9-7).

2004 Muhsin Muhammad - 16 games, 93 catches, 1405 yards (15.1), 16 TD (9th year in the league, 31 years old, team went 7-9).

Jerry Rice in 1995, hands down. I was only 10 yrs old but i still remember. :)

Can't argue against Jerry Rice on any receiving questions, especially with his year in 1995. I was only 13 but was a 49ers fan growing up and definitely remembered that year for him.

Rice 1995, because it was and still is the most yardage in one year and will most likely never be done at that age again.

In my opinion the best football player to ever play the game.

Agree on both points.

Gotta be Rice in '95. It was either him or Irvin but hey Rice is best and always will be.:ohsnap:

Irvin that year had 111 catches, 1603 yards, and 10 TDs, which was his best personal season, but probably only 5th best among WRs that year. That was an incredible year for airing the ball out.

Look at all the receivers from 95. Talk about the "year of the receiver"...

Wow I was just going to say that. How do 4 WRs get more than 115 catches in one year? Talk about amazing. 1800+ recieving yards for Jerry Rice :shocked Out of the 18 seasons that were posted Jerry had 6 of them.
