I don't think that o linemen can really be playmakers. Also how can Campbell be a playmaker when he hasn't played a down in the nfl?

As much as I hate to admit it, last years Colts were as good as it gets:
Peyton Manning
Edgerdin James
Marvin Harrison
Reggie Wayne
Brandon Stokley
Dallas Clark
Dwight Freeney
Robert Mathis
Nick Harper
Cato June
Bob Sanders
Corey Simon
Gary Bracket
Mike Doss

Thats a stacked team, right there

I was thinking the same thing. I don't think OL, FB, kickers, or punters can be playmakers.
OL - if they constantly create massive holes for their RB to run through untouched, or knocks down 3 defensive players that try to blitz the QB *Which our OL hasn't done much for Houston*
FB - See above, or think of Mike Alstott.
Kickers - Adam Vinatieri nuff said.
Punter - .... uh ... if they can put it out of bounds inside the 10 yard line ... on a regular basis then I'd consider it ..:spy:

The reason why linemen aren't considered playmakers is that there arn't any real stats for them. Defenders have sacks, tackles and ints. Skills players on offense have TDs and other random stats.

It's more that they are not under the radar and even though it depends on how you use them it's very unlikely that when you think of a playmaker you think of an offensive lineman. I know each player has an important part in the game, but some are not as noticed as the others. I know some people could but not all people go "wow that Olineman just won the game for us with that block". It's more that the "skill" players are more noticable when they make big plays. I agree what with F-minus said.
