Stat I heard on Monday Night Football. Was that Culpepper has 69 fumbles in 60 Games! :hmmm: He also fumbled 2'' from the goal line now that is tuff to swallow. DD just carry that rock where ever you go! You and the ball become 1! ;)

I think he will take care of the problem...no time to panick. If Capers starts him this weekend...I expect 100 plus yards....NO fumbles!! :twocents:

Curtis Martin is going to be passsed this week. Just my prediction.
The Jets have a bye week. I don't see him gaining more than zero yards myself.

I think he will be fine this game. Look for the Texans to win.

Hey, DD is not the only guy that needs to have a good game with no fumbles. Carr needs to have a good game with no INTs. Let's face it he had a terrific game outside the lone interception last week but that one lead to a Detroit TD. Carr has 3 INTs to Davis' 4 fumbles and all have resulted in TDs as to where 3 of Davis' 4 fumbles resulted in TDs.

Bottom line is the offense needs to hold on to the ball. We do this, we win.

Being a Carr apologist, the 2nd interception was off a guys helmet who was coming through the middle and lept in the air. Sidearm had nothing to do with that one. That one was on the offensive line for not picking that guy up earlier and for the recievers who say that ball hang up there like a pop fly and did nothing about it. In my mind Carr should not be penalized at all for these two.

Can we get our facts straight folks EVER?

2 of DD's resulted in TDs
2 of DC's resulted in TDs

For the record none of the resulting TDs were gimmes. Here is the rundown of the yards needed to score off each of the ensuing TDs.

Carr INT v. Det 63 yards to the score
DD FUMBLE v. Det 79 yards to the score
DD Fumble v. SD 45 to score
Carr INT v. SD 49 to score

So we're talking about short fields on 2 but not ridiculously short fields or gimme TDs. I wish our D would get some onus put on them instead of getting a free pass. Reality is turnovers included the Lions scored their points pretty legitimately.

Carr's third INT happened when DD drifted instead of settling into the spot that Carr was throwing to.

The fact is that Davis is solely responsible for his fumbles, while Carr is only partially responsible for his INT's.

well the problem is really simple...deshaun foster had the same problem early in his career...when he went to go make a move like a cut or a juke he held the ball away from his body...DD does the same thing...during the chiefs game they did a little mini story on how he was holding the ball these days...and that was high and tight...as in high even with his chest and tight to his body...making it harder to knock out...DD just needs to get back to basics and not think about it

Sorry I was off by one INT not resulting in a TD. Even if the TDs were not gimmes, by the yards you mentioned this means we were either in or close to scoring range. My point is that it wiped away our scoring opportunities and not only Davis has goofed in this situation.
