If Sf Really Wants Bush...

If SF really wants Bush are they willing to part with R1's-6 & 22, R3-84 this year and next years R1 or R2 pick? If this happens, I could see our draft looking pretty exciting. Just a thought:

R1-06(F/SF) D'Brick Ferguson OT-VIR or Jimmy Williams CB-VT
My choice would be JW to add some punch to the DB corp.

R1-22(F/SF) DeAngelo Williams RB-MEM or LenDale White RB-USC
After watching the Rose, LW sold me. A physical/fast runner.

R2-33 HOU Marcus McNeil OT-AUB
If Kubes system continues its success, MM will produce.

Package our R3-65(HOU) and R3-84(SF) picks to DAL-49, SD-50 or MINN-51. I won't count on this but maybe we get a taker. If so....

R2-49, 50 or 51 Maurice Stovall WR-ND
At 6'5" and 210+ pounds just the kind of WR to slot. Poss WR

R3-66 HOU Roger McIntosh LB-MIA
A good fit that by mid-season could get a lot of playing time.

R4 and later should be used to get depth and possibly uncover at least one hidden gem. Any ideas on a hidden gem waiting to be found starting at pick 94?????

The Texans aren't trading down without assuring themselves of Mario Williams, I don't know if three 1sts and a couple extra picks are enough to lure them away from Bush and Mario, and I don't see any team offering three 1sts and change for one player anyways, especially the 49ers that have so many needs to fill.

Jimmy Williams at 6 is laughable.

Jimmy Williams??? He'll be lucky to be taken in the top 20.

I like the idea of getting the picks you listed, including the second trade. The only thing I disagree with our a couple of your selections.

R1-6 (F/SF) Michael Huff S-UT or D'Brick
Huff is the highest rated DB for a reason.

R1-22 (F/SF) DeAngelo Williams-RB or Jonathan Joseph-CB or Cromartie-CB
Both of these CB are great talents

R2-33 HOU Eric Winston OT-Miami
Top 10 talent who has showed he is near 100%; McNeil's
scoliosis is too iffy for me for his weight.

R2-49, 50 or 51 Maurice Stovall WR or Anthony Fasano TE or Darryl Tapp DE
At 6'5" and 210+ pounds just the kind of WR to slot. Poss WR

R3-66 HOU Roger McIntosh LB-MIA or Gerris Wilkinson ILB-GTech
A good fit that by mid-season could get a lot of playing time.
Gerris is a solid MLB who could really make an impact on the
defense and come in instantly for competition

R4- HOU Mark Setterstrom OG-Minn or
Fred Matua OG-USC or
Greg Eslinger C
Clint Ingram OLB
All 3 OL would be great fits in Kubes system the LB may be a
reach at this selection

Just my thoughts.

the niners would really have to hate the future of their organization if they make this pick. they'll lose a ton of possibly players as well as completely obliterate their salary cap with 2 consecutive #1 picks.

i dont see houston trading past 5 unless someone gives them 2 years worth of picks for the simple reason that they wouldnt want to move past d'brick or mario.

IF that is the case, huff is the first DB taken, but wouldnt be taken above vernon davis (unless kubiak thinks jeb is reliable for ~15 TD's). we wouldnt draft a rb or wr before the 4th, and depending on mario or d'brick we'd draft the opposite by round 3 (DE or OT).

Champ1234, thanks for noticing my error. Michael Huff - CB - TEXAS would be my selection at #6. I like JW of VT but not at the #6 spot. I also like Cromartie because of his 6'3" frame and speed.

In response to the other post, SF will probably be bad for the next 2-3 years. If they send HOU their 2 - R1's and a R3 this year, they're really only losing 2 picks this year to secure the rights for Bush. We would also get their R1 or R2 next year.

Some food for thought, anyone else wondering if LenDale White sabotaged his workouts and current apperance to avoid being drafted early by a weaker team so he would have the opportunity to be drafted later by a team like:
18 DAL
21 NE
27 CAR
28 JAX
29 NYJ
30 IND
Each one of these teams could use a LW and would laugh at the teams who didn't sniff this hoax out earlier. Imagine if LW had showed up at the combine in playing shape and blew everyone away. He would easily be a top 10 pick. How sick would it be if his stock fell far enough to land him in NE or INDY? Sure he left some money on the table but that could easily be made up by enjoying the playoffs each year out of the gate versus making a little more money and lining up each Sunday and taking a beating. Anyone want to bet against this guy not being ready for the start of NFL mini cakps?
