Sure we will take BUsh with the first pick. Im not to excited with that, but oh well.

I just hope with the 2nd pick they take (if available) Justice, or McNeil at OT they would make a solid pick for our VERY pathetic line that has a huge holes with McKenny and Weary. Flannigan has been injured the last 2 years, Im not sold at all with Weigert at RT and though Pitts showed promise last season at LT he still is playing out of Position.

mcneill would be a nice LT to get in the 2nd. he'd start there right away. doesn't fit the scheme at all, but neither does george foster.

WInston Justice would fit, but I think he is #2 behind D brick. McNeil though is big at 336 and would be a ton to move at LT. I wonder how he would handle speed rushers

Working?
I'd prefer D Colledge at 65, and a MLB to anchor our defense at 33, but thats just my opinion. I think colledge fits kubiaks scheme better than any OT on the board (except maybe Winston Justice)

I think McNeill would be the RT like Foster is in Denver, then keep the smaller, more athletic LT to protect the QB's blind side. I'm not a huge fan of us getting McNeill as I think Eric Winston and Daryn Colledge both fit our system a lot better, but McNeill would still be a decent pick at #33.

Why not Bush at 1; Giles (G - UGA) at 2 - and with one of our 3rd round picks the OT from Boston College?
I hope you're kidding. Max Jean-Gilles and Jeremy Trueblood are two of the absolute worst fits for zone blocking in this entire draft, plus I don't see us using our first three picks on offense.

I aggree with the McNiel observation. I don't hate Winston. I think he could in our scheme cover 3 of five postions. It just stuck me in the Sr bowl work outs that he was still nursing that knee. Maybe it's not hurt and it's just psycological thing in his mind. Lot of folks say it's ok. I just don't want another busted 2nd round pick. If they take him, I'm on board.

Have to agree with Mark. Jean Giles will be a road grader for someone like Chicago. I love Trueblood. He's big mean and nasty. But He will never be abything but a right Tackle. Now Duce is another matter. He is 338, but he has very quick feet and can get to the next level. It'd be a round too early, but I believe it would be a very good insurance pick. If we take bush, I wouldn't mind one of the dancing bear gaurds at 33.

I would like to get Mcneil. For those who think he would not fit our "zone blocking scheme" he is taller, heavier and faster than Ferguson. I think he would start immediatly at either tackle for us.:twocents:
