More I look at what we've done in FA, more I think we're trading out of #1 for any offer that's close. The reason is simple--Kubiak may not like or want marquee players. Look at the people we've picked up in free agency, grunts all. Not a hero among them. Moulds is closest and he's at the tail end of his career, so he's a 2 year purchase. The rest? A league of journeymen.
That tells me that IF WE HAVE A CHANCE of getting out from under the #1 pick and GETTING APPROXIMATE VALUE that we will.
This comes to a trade with the Titans, Jets, Denver, Oakland, Arizona, the Colts, or any other team that can, by hook or crook, put together a package that gives us the approximate 3000 points or equivalent in players plus picks.

Like they are desperate to get out of that spot. I think you are displacing your feelings on to the Texans. Similar to what people do to their dogs because they can't talk. If they were thinking about trading, I doubt it would be broadcast with desperation. We are talking alot of money involved in these transactions. I think they will ask people what they might trade for the pick, but I doubt they will take just whatever Bone anyone throws our way.
