horn_omatics 3rd mock

Due to free agent signings I keep having to update, but i'm not complaing!

1. Reggie Bush RB U.S.C 5'11 202 4.33
2. Jonathan Joseph CB South Carolina 6'0 190 4.34
3. Daryn Colledge OT Boise St. 6'4 298 4.90
3b. Pat Watkins FS Florida St. 6'4 205 4.49
4. Charles Spencer OG Pitt. 6'4 338 5.1
6. Frostee Rucker DE U.S.C 6'4 262 4.72
7 Tim Dobbins ILB Iowa St. 6'2 243 4.6

I think the pick at number 6 might be a tiny reach, because since Frostee put on a little more weight I have seen him as high as the fourth round. Some people don't like Watkins but i love his size, plus he excels in zone coverage.

I'd be suprised to see Jonathan Joseph fall to us in the second. I would be very happy with that draft though. I don't know much about Watkins but the only thing I would change is get DeMario Minter instead of Watkins in the third.

I would like Minter or Joseph, as i think Minter is a more polished corner. In my first mock i had Winston 2, Minter 3a. and 3b.Cedric Griffin as a free safety. ;)

I think I like the one with Minter and Griffin in the third more. Minter and Griffin are both good corners but I'm not sure how Griffin would do at FS.

He has played both positions at Texas. Texas basically start four corners in there secondary so all can fill in other positions if need be. Griffin is a much better zone safety than a man corner.

Just learned something new :) Than I like your draft even more :yahoo:

Dream on! Doubtful Joseph is there in the 2nd and NO WAY Colledge is there in the 3rd.

just my draft, if you prefer my first as stated earlier.

2. winston
3a. minter
3b. griffin

If we get Winston in 2nd we can draft BPA in 3rd. Maybe trade down with #66 to pickup extra pick next year or trade out right to get '07 2nd rounder.

spencer is a borderline 1st rounder, not a chance he'll be in the 4th. he's guaranteed to go in the 2nd.

I like Stetterstom from Minn., he is rated higher in some mocks and better suited for zone blocking.

I love all those picks but I would sub Joseph for Bullocks who I think will be a better safety in the pros and cause he is a little bit faster.

Bush, Joseph, and Colledge would be great for our team. I'm not real sold on Pat Watkins, especially in the 3rd round, maybe in the 4th. I do not like Charles Spencer, he weighed 352 at the Combine and is way too big for our zone blocking scheme. He is pretty athletic for his size but he needs to lose 40-50 lbs. if he wants to fit our scheme properly. I also don't really like Frostee Rucker. He isn't overly talented and if I'm not mistaken he's had some off-field problems. Dobbins I don't really care about one way or another, that far down in the draft you're just looking for training camp depth anyways.
