But someone always could trade into that spot for a QB. Or use it to leapfrog into the Texans' spot at No. 1, since it's no secret that Houston's coach, Gary Kubiak, wants to draft a runner, Reggie Bush. It would make a lot of sense for the Texans to move down one spot, provided they were sure that the new No. 1 team would draft a QB. Houston would get its guy, plus an extra draft. But Houston couldn't move lower than No. 2 for fear of losing Bush.

This one was interesting:

So here are a few potential top-10 names. D'Brickashaw Ferguson, the tackle for Virginia. That might not be a bad choice for New Orleans, either.

"A good player," my man says, "but not in the class of a Tony Boselli. I'd say more on the level of a Levi Jones."

It can be a mystifying position at times. The surest left tackle bet since Boselli was Robert Gallery of Iowa and look at him now, struggling at RT for the Raiders.

And what happened to Boselli?? How many good yrs did he have? Yet Pace & Ogden have continued to dominate!

What does that have to do with anything? It has zilch to do with grading prospects. FYI--Boselli's career was ended by medical malpractice by the Jags team doc not anything in his play.

I think if the team really is that in love with Reggie, don't mess around with trading with anyone. Someone could guarantee you they would take a quarterback only to draft Bush right from under their noses. Just take Reggie #1 & be safe.:twocents:

No doubt. Only trade down if someone is offering 4 picks or more.

If you make up your mind that RB is the guy, dont get cute. Dont gamble again (Derrik Jouhson anyone) just take your guy and go on.

We can't trade down because The Saints already said that they would be tempted to take Reggie even though they have Deuce so they don't need to mess around and just draft Reggie if that is who they want. If they want D'Brick or something than deal down a couple spots or something.

The Texans didn't want DJ, they traded down because they thought they could get Travis a couple picks lower, and the did.

...well thats what they say, and I tend to believe it.

Any team that did that would lose all credibility with the other 31 teams in the league. If it was a provision of the trade, then that GM would be black listed and the team might suffer penalties.

This was ust another "set up article" to demise the guys coming out from Texas. D'Brick is much leaner and stronger than Gallery, Huff, he called him game slow, Oh my gosh that proves this guy is a :homer:

I know, I know, I am seeing Huff as a fan of Texas, but really the Kid was awsome every game. He posted one of the top 40 times in the combine, and anyone who watched the Ohio State of USC game knows that Huff is the real deal. You know, they did the same thing when Nathan Vasher was comming out, look at how he turned out! The only pro I could see from the post was the comment on NAGYETASFKJ however you spell it, the DT from Oregon, that guy is a bohemoth, a Samoan Giant who played solid and put up numbers being tripple teamed. He ran a bit slow at the combine and now some media guys are pulling the rug on this kid. He is a show stopper, gonna be good, very good in the NFL.:ok:
