Simple question...
Who would have won a game played between Texas and the Texans last season?

Often, people claim that the best college team could defeat the worst pro team in a given sport. What better or more appropriate comparison could there be here in the Lone Star State?
Unless you think that the 'Horns could have beaten the Crybabies... now that's appropriate...!

Horns
or
Texans?

Also give your reason why.

hahaha

i voted horns.... I dont think it would really happen, i just like 'em better

p.s. don't call me a hater, texans are my favorite nfl team

No college team could ever beat a NFL team, Ever.

Unless Coach Roman is your QB coach and Joe Pendry is the Line coach, then maybe.:sarcasm:
exactly they only way the college team would win is if roman WAS the qb and pendry actually a lineman playing. this is one of my pet peevs each year when a professional team is doing bad and someone compares them to a college team.

Of course no college team could beat a pro team but could a team of college all stars beat the worst pro team?

No way no how.. Texans all the way, Horns are my favorite college team by far...BUT the TEXANS are my favorite TEAM on the planet. Plus as many have stated a pro team is far too advanced to be beaten by a college team.

Let's be realistic.

How many Horns are going to play pro ball? Maybe 20 of those players will eventually reach the pros. That's including the scrubs who will later develop into lettermen.

As hard as it is to imagine, every pro team is loaded full of players who were studs at the college level.

The Horn's might keep it close against the Texan's practice squad, but I'd bet on the NFL scrubs.

It is highly unlikely that the best college team could beat the worst pro team with regard to football.

However, if the best college team had an excellent game plan and the pro team failed to exploit the weakest parts of the college team, there could be a game. The main problem would be at least two or three players on both sides of the ball for the college team would be completely overwhelmed, which would make their side of the ball ineffective.
