Cowboys | Team granted permission to talk with Harrington
Tue, 28 Mar 2006 16:30:16 -0800

Rick Gosselin, of the Dallas Morning News, reports Detroit Lions team officials have confirmed the Dallas Cowboys have been granted permission to talk with Lions' QB Joey Harrington. The Lions also have given Miami, Cincinnati Denver, Kansas City, Oakland and Seattle permission to speak with Harrington.

Dear Cryboys,

Please sign Mr. Harrington. He is a fabulous, mature QB. You will be really happy with that signing.

Regards,
Texans Chick

P.S. I guess would mean you don't need to trade up for a certain Texas QB. Durnit.

P.S.S. Go suck rocks.

P.S.S.S. I'm not quite sure what the P.S.S. exactly means, but it is the most mannered thing I can think of saying when addressing you.

P.S.S.S.S. :texflag:

does this mean the Drew Henson experiment is over?

Isn't Drew playing in Europe this season? Anyone know how he's doing?

How many different QB's has Jones tried to bring to life since Aikman retired?

I've read that Drew is doing very well in NFL Europe. I think he's the top rated passer there. The season is very young though; maybe only 2 or 3 games into it.

Don't know about the other question..I don't keep count although I can name off Quincy, Chad, Ryan, Vinny and now Drew. It doesn't matter anymore. It's Drew's job for as long as he can last.

Looks like Drew is having the best completion percentage at just under 63%, but the average (6.5 per completion) is making it look like short passes - good enough for 2nd in that category. 1 TD / 0 INT

NFLE stats

But back to the topic.... quite a list of interested teams in JH. Hopefully, he turns it around with another team.

Henson is doing well in NFLE..... But so did Ragone, and look where he is..... Behind Sage....

Same thing will happen in Dallas. Harrington would be the backup, and if the opportunity presents itself, he'll get be able to try and impress Bill, and maybe get a start.

I'm still Very high on Joey. I like the kid, he's got mozzy. Like some of the fans here, I don't think he's gotten a fair shot to prove what he can do.

I'm not much of a Harrington fan but I'll admit I'm not a Lions fan so I've basically haven't cared what he's done or not done. He'll get a job somewhere.

Sweet! When we knock old man Bledsoe out of the game they will bring in that bum harrington and or Romo or Henson which ever one they decide to keep.

I suspect Romo will be the backup as he was last year.

Drew didn't get hurt once last year that I remember.

However it's kind of you to hope he does get hurt. Geez.

I hope Joey starts for Dallas. See him go 11 for 27, 3 INTs, maybe a TD. Sweet. Then TO throws him under the bus...that would be funny.

The Cowboys need another QB either a Back-up or a future starter. I'm not to confident that Bledsoe would have enough to take the team this year to the SB and beyond. Hope they get a quality QB in free agents or maybe get make a deal to move up in the draft and Select VY!

Please, please just find a quarterback and stick with him. Although at this point I would assume Joey is being pulled to benchwarmer duty.
