Well Texans, although I have always kinda liked your team from afar, I am a lions fan and I hope we completly destroy you.

That being said- I'm very disapointed about not getting to see (Joey against Carr) and (Andre against Rogers)

That being said- You guys get to play us without our two best players, Rogers and Dre Bly. If we still had em, I wouldn't be giving you a chance. But since we don't the game seems pretty 50/50.

Don't blow it like you did last week... or its going to be a long year for you.

I can assure you that the Texans will show up for the game, becuase we always play well after a tough loss. I can't say I agree that you'd destroy us if you had Rogers and Bly. We've beat teams we weren't supposed to beat, and we've lost to teams that we should have beat. I would have liked to see Rogers play, but unfortunately he went down for the year. I think you'll be surprised by our run defense. We're pretty good against the run, and it will be an interesting matchup. It will also be interesting to see how your defense deals with DD. You have a mix of young and veteran players in your defense, much like ours, and DD has played well for us. I think it will be a good game, and I hope for an injury free game for both sides. I think the Texans ink out a win, but it will be close.

OHNOES! We are going to lose to a team whos two best players are a reciever whos played five pro games and an aging corner!!

After Bobin and Peek lay a licking on Harrington and Dunta lay it on Roy Williams, you will be waiting for next year to have all your best players together again. After sunday they will be together in the hot top for a while.

Thats no lie plus harrington dont make very good descision out there ! He gonna have the whole team injured before the seasons over !!! Houston gonna put it on the lions ,,,they gonna be the kittys once were done !

Ummm, he's 27 and in his 6th year, that's his prime. But after some of the other comments in this thread I shouldn't be suprised. I just hope the Texans players think the way you do. :boxing:

Charles Rogers isn't even the best Rogers on the Lions, let alone their best WR. DT Sean Rogers is a better player than the guy they took with the second overall pick a year ago. Roy Williams is also a better WR than Rogers.

Why arnt we going to see ( Carr vs. Joey )? You are correct that missing 2 starters is a disadvantage. But then again so is starting 2 rookies in key positions. Babin(LOLB) and Daunte Robinson(CB). Dont count on DD fumbling at all and dont count on Daunte Robinson to fall down on coverage to give up a TD. Also, I dont like the Carr/Harrington comparison much because Carr has been running for his life for 2 yrs. I actually think it has effected his decision making skills. He is good at finding the TE and 4th chk off receiver but rarely throws downfield. Man, If Carr had the time to actually stand in and step up in the pocket he would be miles ahead of Harrington. His first year he didnt even have a pocket. And BTW I hope the Texans destroy the Lions :hehe:

Jwwillis- Try having 3 rookies in key starting positions. RB KJ, WR RW, and OLB Teddy Lehman, in addition to Bly and Rogers being out.

Ack--you're giving me flashbacks to the Texans last season...rookies at RB and WR, and what seemed like a parade of guys heading to injured reserve all year! No doubt that I hope the Lions lose this week, obviously, but I really hope that they don't get stuck in the injury rut like Houston faced in 2003. I'm curious to see this Lions team late in the season if they stay healthy. :hmmm:

We were in the same boat as you guys last year, as far as injuries... albeit you led the league(17) and the Lions led the NFC(15) you arent going to win verymany games with those kinda injuries...

I agree, Charles Rogers wasnt the best Rogers on our team, because Shaun Rogers is the best player overall on the Lions... Rogers was the best WR though... his only problem apparently is durability...
