what happens if we draft bush?

If we draft Reggie Bush what happens to Domanick Davis. The only reason i ask is because that would be alot of money for two running backs. Who do you think would be a better fit in the new offense, Jonathan Scott or Eric Winston. I believe Jonathan Scott is a more duriable player and would have a better career than Eric Winston. Now if we dont get Nate Burelson, do you think we go for a player like Maurice Stovall out of Notre Dame?

If we draft Bush, him and Davis will split carries and Bush will probably be lined up in the slot for some of the plays where Davis is the RB. Think of Bush as an Offensive Specialist rather than a RB.

Hopefully it gives DD a chance to stay healthy. A solid 1-2 punch for all to fear. Oh yea, and we'll throw the ball too.:redtowel:

Bush breaks alltime rookie record for yards, 2317 by Tim Brown 1988 and scores 22+ touchdowns to break Gail Sayers alltime rookie record.
If the scouts are correct Bush is the only guy in the last 10 years to have that ability.

As the others have said, Bush and Davis will split carries, Bush will probably be split out wide much of the time that Davis is in the backfield depending on what formations we're using and what #2 WR we have, and you could also see a few split back formations with both of them in the backfield together. Morency could end up requesting a trade rather than sitting at #3 on our depth chart, so they'd have to decide between Davis and Morency, and personally I'd prefer to keep Morency other than the financial obligations we have to Domanick.

As for Winston and Scott, Eric Winston is clearly a better OT and a better fit in our new offense, but he won't make it into the 2nd round so unless we end up with a mid-late 1st round pick somewhere in there we won't be able to get Winston. I would not take Jonathan Scott at #33, maybe at #65 if he falls that far (which I could see happening) and depending on what else we do in free agency and in the first two rounds of the draft.
