With that being said, who that is available would you like to see? I'd like to see the Texans get Nate Clements from Buffalo if he is A.) Interested and B.) at a good price. Also like Chris Hope from Pittsburgh. Who is out there that everyone wants to see the Texans get?

Dont count on it. Clements was franchised, so if we sign him, he'll A) be expensie and B)cost 2 1st rounders

Uh.. exactly who are the young free agents you are refering to?
 
Yep, there is a separate thread discussing Hope coming to visit with the Texans. I don't know enough about him to form an educated opinion. However, I would think we could find a safety in the middle rounds...
 
It really doesn't matter who the Texans bring in or sign nobody will be happy anyways. So far most of the fans on this site have been whinning about one thing or another. I support this team winning or not winning. The things they have done so have been fine. I hope they bring in C Hope and sign him he is a major upgrade. So is Weaver. Just sit back and watch people we will win sooner before later.:ok:

I am cheering for Putzier and maybe Hope to come here or another veteran Safety. IMHO - we dont want a rookie playing safety and making all the secondary calls. Honestly I feel that was a huge problem with our defense last year - Rookies and 1st time players at starting positions made for a lot of inexperience and confusion and thus poor defensive play. A majority of veterans know how to make defenses work. That is unless Fangio is your D-coordinator.
