I would like to see Bruce help out our young WR core, but I think Givens will be a better pickup in the long run. The only reason I wouldn't take him over Bruce is money. Also, has Eric Moulds been cut yet?

Working?
Maybe he hasn't been cut yet. I think the Bills were ready to cut him when the salary cap looked like it wasn't going to get extended, but with the deadline for FAs extended, maybe he is still safe

I think some tutelage from Bruce would improve our entire receiving corps, especially if we want Mathis to have a presence on offense.

I like both Isaac Bruce, and Eric Moulds.... I'd take Bruce because of his rings....
The age concerns me, he's my age. He's no Jerry Rice, but he's a class act.

I do like Gaffney, but I think Bruce can more than make up for the loss......

I don't see much difference between Givens & Gaffney, I'd just as soon keep Gaffney, and my money.

I'll second that vote--bang for the buck he seems like the best option IMO.

I voted Givens. I think he would be the perfect complement to Andre Johnson. He's young (this will be his 4th or 5th year) and he already has championship experience, something we need on this team. Isaac Bruce might be a good tutor, but he's getting up there in age. Yeah, older wide recievers have had productive years (Jerry Rice, Tim Brown) but I would like us to have Givens for the long run. I wouldn't want Eric Moulds. He's not going to want to be the #2 guy. He's also probably going to be more expensive.

I won't be complaining if we get any of them though. I would prefer Givens over Bruce and Bruce over Moulds though.

Voted Bruce...I just think that he is still an excellent WR that would bring a LOT of experience and knowledge to our current corp of WRs.

I agree w/ the other post that doesn't see much difference between Givens and Gaffney. To me, they are both the same type of players but both were in much different situations. Givens is a solid WR, but his success is more a product of the system as opposed to his "outstanding ability." Put Gaffney in his place on those championship teams and the Patriots get the same result OR put Givens here over the past three seasons and we still have the same result...IMO.

same here.......productive young reciever in an unproductive offense, still only 25 and will not cost too much.

Rogers and Price are 2 guys I'm surprised to see mentioned (I jus mentioned Peerless). I didnt vote because obv he wasnt on that list but I do agree we could have and should have made a play for Mason last year, he would have been an upgrade over Bradford at least...

I dont want any of those guys, and dont think we need to go sign a high priced number 2 guy. Gaffney may be able to be kept for cheap and in our system he will fit great. He is the intermediate route guy similar to TJ Housh but faster in Cinci. Resign Gaffney or draft a guy in the third like Mike Hass, Maurice Stovall, Demetrius Williams, or the kid from Central Michigan cant remeber his name but he is 6'4 1/2" 226 and ran a 4.48

Keep Gaffney, and attribute his relative lack of production to coaching blunders.

I think Gaff will be a solid 800 yds/6 TDs type player for us this year.

Rogers was on dope suspension last year for 4 games, Det is looking to get rid of him asap.

I'd rather draft a WR, or sign one in a few years.

This team is 2-3 years away, we sign a FA now, they are aging and needing to be replaced by the time we're making the push.

I say Givens 'cause I want a guy who remembers what it feels like to win - he's done it as much as anybody.

I would love Randle El to be a texan. He can do more things other than catching the football. Imagine a trick-play where Randle El throws a perfect touchdown pass to AJ.

I Chose Eric Moulds because we are showing consistency at QB and its not like either receiver will be #1 or #2 its whoever gets open gets the ball. Eric Moulds has excellent hands and makes plays. Unlike Bradford, at that point who do you double? I think Moulds would just like to play on a team that has the same core group of players. He has often said he was jealous of other teams because of the fact Buffalo has had a revolving door @ QB.

Givins is probably the best fit for us, but I doubt he will be here. To many other teams are looking at him. Next choice would be Bruce and he actually might be more likely to come here.
