Sharper could be cut

I really think the D missed his (and Glenn's) leadership last year. I'd like to see him back for that reason.

Ain't gonna happen...unless we wanted to talk him into coaching.

He barely played. Tatupa started instead of him and the defense was markedly better this year. Why bother?

Sharper moved to OLB last season so for the first 8 games both he and Tatupu started. LeRoy Hill came in after Sharpers injury and was superb.

I'd be mixed on this. I actually wouldn't mind seeing him back for a 1-year contract.

It wasn't really losing Jamie Sharper that hurt us, it was Glenn.

Its was the combination, the braintrust cut both defensive leaders.

Looking at next year, I'd be comfortable taking a less talented player who is a strong leader on the defensive side of the ball.

Sometimes it looked as if the D lacked heart and passion.

Jamie Sharper was just released by Seattle. I think we should grab him up and chalk-it up to repairing a mistake made by Casserly. If nothing else, he will add leadership and moral. Our defense needs a little bit of that...would you agree?

What u said he missed tons of tackles? ummmm.....ya i doubt that, because 3 years ago he led the league in tackles ahead of Ray Lewis, and Keith Brooking.:challenge

My bad. Either way, though, he was ineffective. Pass.

Jamie Sharper with the Texans

if we could bring back that Jamie Sharper, I don't think people would argue that much.
