Who should be our backup QB?

Is there any speculation or predictions? It's an important question given the finite probability that Watson gets hurt. I'm still not sure whether the OL has been fixed well enough. My guess right now is that Weeden is the backup.

Most likely. Weeden by everyone's account has the smoothest, accurate canon for an arm.........during practices. The consistent problem over his career is that the smoothness, accuracy and footwork have tended to disappear when the real lights come on. I hope it takes an abrupt change as a Texan if he ever needs to come in for Watson.

I mean; on Madden I'll be looking for a guy closer to Watson's skill-set. Could there be a more polar opposite than Weeden? Sheesh.

Despite in one interview, RGIII stating that he could help the Texans, there is thought around the League that he will not quietly assume the role of backup. But most importantly, teams are convinced that RGIIII will never progress his approach to the game in one extremely important aspect...........over all the years, he has refused to accept the concept that he must play "smartly"...............play in such a way to protect himself rather than play the role of extending a play at all cost and misguidedly repeatedly using himself as an indestructible battering ram/punching bag. Teams are convinced that, should he again get the opportunity to play again, he he will most likely spend time in a hospital bed than on the playing field.

I don't care if they focus on football or the cheerleaders , so long as I'm entertained. The media sh!tstorm that would follow Kaepernick to Houston would be nothing short of entertaining …. especially since Ole Bob is a klansman.

I had hoped that post didn't require a sarcasm smiley …. Obviously I was wrong ?!


It was in reference to the inmates running the asylum / jail comment where everyone went stupid calling him racist when that has nothing to do with race which played into the Kaepernick kneeling being racially motivated (police violence isn't limited to blacks , I'm down with the cause) that would be a media circus like we've never seen before.

Yeah I thought it was after I made the post :)

But sadly given the times we live in, you can never be sure. People have been labeled racists for much less.
