Who would we benefit from most (OL)

Just a interesting question ive been wondering...Actually its not who is the better one but who would benefit our team more...FA..Bentley - Hutchinson or Draft - D'Brick

I would want Bentley the most. Plus he can play center for us, which I think is the biggest need for this Oline right now.
 
i want bentley i think there are 4 solid tackles in this draft and we are bound to get one in the second round.

we are gonna get one of the big three after Dfoam and with out wasting our top pick now thats a cant loose situation.
 
I would rather have Bentley. That would move McKinney to guard, which I think is his natural position. I don't know if Pitts would move back to guard also though, since he's spent almost all of his pro career as a tackle (he was a guard coming out of college, or that's where the Texans were originally planning to play him). I think Pitts is decent enough as a LT though. Maybe Justice or Winston, assuming we draft one of them, can move to RT.

LT - Pitts
LG - McKinney
C - Bentley
RG - Weigert? Wade?
RT - Winston

It's not exactly Pro Bowl caliber, but it's better than what we've had.
 
I don't know if this discussion is limited to free agency, but the guy best suited (and available) to help the 2006 Texans at C/G is either Nick Mangold or Eslinger. I suppose the best tackle available is Ferguson, but do believe that other Ts can be just as effective in the new system...

I would add Mark Setterstorm along with those names at guard. I think he would do great in our system.

Wiegert only played in 12 games last year. I don't know if he qualifies as our best offensive lineman. Either way, a mediocre offensive lineman from another team could probably come here and be our best one the way our line has played all 4 years.
