i love DD, but i voted for Reggie ( we need to come up with a nick-name for him other than RB) because he just has so much potential. I WANT THEM BOTH!!! :crying: , but i guess u cant have your cake and eat it too or we'd all be really fat and walk around with cake all the time. I'll be happpy with either of them.
 
ya its hard to get hit out of bounds, if so they usually throw a penalty. geez its funny how fast people forget D. Davis !
 
well bush is a 1st rounder davis a 4th round kick returner, so i dont think he's done to badly considering what and where we drafted him !
 
Davis, cause one day Bush is going to end up collapsing on me while flying through the air to the endzone and break a rib (or neck) and I wouldn't need that kind of stress as a ball...

One thing i wonder if Reggie puts ups the same stat's DD does wich are very solid would he be considered a bust. or a wasted pick if he was doing the same as DD.?
 
Quite the silly poll, but I'm game... :ok:

I'd have to say that Bush's potential is far greater than DD's known talent. If RB can be half of what Gayle Sayers or Barry Sanders (his two most often mentioned comparisons) were in their prime, we'll have a big-time playmaker on our hands.

DD is serviceable, but he is not a threat that teams have to gameplan around. Bush, on the other hand, could be a player that defenses always recognize where he's at on the field and plan accordingly.
 
Bush for me because he can get me to the endzone faster, and avoid those big ferriocous tacklers. I just hope he isn't a big spiker though. I hate getting spiked in the endzone. It really hurts to have my face smashed against the ground. And don't even get me started on the mad scramble to recover me after a fumble. Talk about getting the wind knocked out of you. And I do all of this for what? I don't even get paid to take this crap. Where's my agent!

I would want Reggie to carry me, because he is fast and elusive, and he will not be chased down from behind like DD was a few times this yr. Man all i saw was green and then all of a sudden we were on our ***!!! Another reason i want Reggie is because DD is never around to carry me at the end of the season...That really sux. From what i hear Reggie has no history of injuries. Hey, maybe it's because he is so fast and elusive. REGGIE!! REGGIE!! REGGIE!!

Mostly because if I were a football, I wouldn't be a sentient being nor have fingers to type this. :cool:



BTW, I didn't know that Barbara Walters frequented this MB.
 
I love DD, but if he carries me, I'm not usre he'll be there for the end of the season.

Plus, I'll get to be in lots of pictures as Reggie Bush does all sorts of crazy crap to put me in the endzone, probably stretching out and everything. I sure hope he doesn't do some crazy *** thing like wipe my down after the touchdown like Steve Smith did, because that's just downright embarassing, but I do like celebrations. :P

its funny how quickly people forget about D. Davis just cause a STAR college football player is dangling in front of them. Davis is a great football player, and i dont think this team will be a play off tem in even 3 years if we draft young or bush. one star cant light the whole sky up !!!!
 
I do not know DD or Bush but I'd definately wouldn't want to be carried into the endzone by TO or Chad Johnson, all they have left to do (as far as a celebration goes) after a score is to eat a football and poop it out.

Bush plays against college defenses, most of them sub-par. That comparison is just null and void. He may do the same in the NFL, but he has yet to prove it. What little I watched him did not impress me at all, unless we're talking WR skills, BUT he did gain good yardage somehow (must've been when I turned my head to cough or somehthing), so we'll just have to see.

DD is hurt all the time, at the end of the season the last 2 yrs. Not good he is a good back, but not great. RB is a GAMEBREAKER!!! He only averaged what 8+ yds a carry. 6+ in the Rose Bowl with limited time on the field. RB is the man who needs to carry the ball. One star might not light up the sky, but he can sure as hell shine!!
