Day 3 NFL Draft Discussion

I've given up on improving OL in this draft. After Dorian Johnson the rest of the pool is just fodder.

Two OG have been taken, but still no OTs. As someone who didn't follow the leadup to the draft at all, I'm still shocked at how few OL have been taken. Surely there are some good ones out there? It's just hard to imagine that there are so few worth drafting in the first 125 picks.

I've seen mention of a few different TEs still available who might be good. Wonder if we might go that direction to get good value with our pick?

What about Roderick Johnson, not a road grader but may offer some pass protection. Could get stronger over time

Butt could be a steal at this point, depending on how his health checks out. May have to stash him for a while

Good pick.
Julien is a little raw, but has a good coach here in Houston.
Has long arms and a good punch.
Team captain and played LT - should be able to handle RT when he adapts and learns our system.

Davenport great pick....... Now if we can grab Dorian Johnson next I'll kick a hole in my tv ....... What a draft this far

I've got to say, this has been a really nice draft thus far. I love the risk with Deshaun Watson, think Cunningham and Foreman were phenomenal values, and it sounds like Davenport has great potential.

It may not work at as well as it looks on paper (it rarely does), but I've got to give Ricky McNair and round of applause for what he's done thus far. Good all-around draft to this point.
