YodAa19 Mock Draft 2.0

YodAa

Rookie
1. Houston Texans - RB Reggie Bush USC
Kubiak will have the last say in this pick, but he'll only be allowed to choose between the President and the Mormon. Kubes is obviously in ove with Carr and he knows that if his running system had Bush it would simply "Kill"

2. New Orleans Saints - QB Matt Leinart USC
The City of NO just wants to win!!!! They don't care if their wins won't have any flash to them they wanna win and they wanna win now, and between Matt and Vince, Matt is obviously the more developed.

3. Tennessee Titans - QB Vince Young Texas
Steve wants mentor Vince and still play at least 2 years, good thing since thats about how long it'll take Young to develop.

4. New York Jets - RB DeAngelo Williams Memphis
Some call him a poor mans Cadillac Williams, but after his performance throughout the senior bowl they'll call him a middle class man's Cadilliac Williams, and that'll be enough for the Jets to take him at 4.

5. Green Bay Packers - LB AJ Hawk Ohio State
The players to trade up for here would be AJ or The Brick but the only teams that would trade up need depth and the Pack has to take Hawk, but cheer up he is worth the top 5.

6. Oakland Raiders - DE Mario Williams NCST
Known for being badasses, the raiders will improve their D with an elite player in drafting "Super" Mario and extend their image of bad guys for years to come.

7. San Francisco 49ers - TE Vernon Davis Maryland
Tough choice for the 9ers here with AJ and DeAngelo gone, but they decide to make the workload easier for Alex by drafting the "Duke" and introducing us to the best new TE in the NFL.

8. Buffalo Bills - OT D'Brickashaw Ferguson Virginia
The Brick falling this far is crazy and shouldn't be legal but the Bills arn't complaining. They have all the offensive tools but need the protection. With Ferguson they'll be able to get more done and let JP become a better QB.

9. Detroit Lions - QB Jay Cutler Vanderbilt
OK I'm gonna be straight forward on this pick with no juicy lines or anything. The Lions are flat out retarded! Jay isn't worth a top 10 pick but thats ok its the Lions 2 QBs and 3 WRs in 5 years is the type of thing that'll qualify you as mentally retarded so the Lions without flinching take this now overrated inconsistent guy to continue their troubled ways.

10. Arizona Cardinals - RB LenDale White USC
Their board looked like this: OT Ferguson, QB Cutler, RB Williams, and RB White.

11. St.Louis Rams - S Micheal Huff Texas
A Defense in need of help gets it.

12. Cleveland Browns - LB Chad Greenway Iowa
A prototypical LB for a 3-4 goes where and when hes meant to go, good pick for the Browns.

13. Baltimore Ravens - CB/S Jimmy Williams VT
These guys always go for the flashy pick and Jimmy will be that.

14. Philadelphia Eagles - DT Broderick Bunkley FSU

BB only solidyfied his top 15 status at the Senior Bowl this week and with him and the return of McNabb and friends, Andy Reid will take back the east.

15. Atlanta Falcons - Mathias Kiwanuka BC
"Kiwi" falling this far is crazy but beleiveable. The Falcons improve on their DL since improving in their secondary would make this pick lose its value.

16. Miami Dolphins - DT Haloti Ngata Oregon
Cutler didn't make it to where he should've but the Ngata dropped like crazy and the Phins take him gladly to start their 3-4 D.

17. Minnesota Vikings - RB Laurence Maroney Minnesota
You often here about these fairy tale stories of teams drafting the guy from their area, well finally 1 comes true, although the Vikings were hoping for other people to be here.

18. Dallas Cowboys - OT Winston Justice USC
The Law unexpectedly drops and the Boys take him to solve their troubled OT ways

19. San Diego Chargers - S Ko Simpson SoCar
Simpson will be crazy good in the NFL and quickly will become a top S, the Chargers know this, drop what they're doing, and just take him!

20. Kansas City Chiefs - CB Tye Hill Clemson
Nice work in Mobile and what the Chiefs need.

21. New England Patriots - S Darnell Bing USC
The Pats were hoping for better to be available here but they no that their secondary is injury prone and start building their defenses now.

22. Denver Broncos(f/WAS) - WR Santonio Holmes Ohio State
Rod Smiths heir is found.

27. Carolina Panthers - TE Leonard Pope Georgia
No more holes left except TE

24. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - OT Marcus McNeil
If Auburn players at 5 11 are Cadillacs then the next Buccaneer/Auburn star is a "Hummer".

25. Cinncinati Bengals - DT Gabe Watson Michigan
Pope is gone and they need help stopping the run, Watson is their answer

26. New York Giants - LB DeMeco Ryans Alabama
I think he was at the Senior Bowl... I just, I can't.... cough*Bust*cough

27. Chicago Bears - TE Mercedes Lewis UCLA
After Senior Bowl practices hes back in the 1st round and no matter whos at QB for the Bears, he'll help.

28. Jacksonville Jaguars - CB Antonio Cromartie FSU
1 side is good but they need balance and get another soon-to-be-outstanding-CB.

29. Denver Broncos - DE Tamba Hali Penn St.
Broncos need help on their DL.

30. Indianapolis Colts - LB Bobby Carpenter Ohio State
In an effort to save his job past 06, Dungy gets the best LB available.

31. Seattle Seahawks - DE Manny Lawson NCST
Stock has greatly improved and for the Hawks it'll just be BPA here.

32. Pittsburgh Steelers - WR Martin Nance Miami OH
Ben and Nance reunite yay!

Although I don't agree with you on Cutler, but I had to quote this...it was just too hilarious.

:thankyou:

Yoda as I look at your draft I think ok, but then I am like no way. I believe Detroit goes defense and I am thinking either line or LB. AJ hawk also is likely headed to whoever has the 6 or 7 pick. A non-freak LB does not go before a freak DE, DEs are always more valuable. Jay Cutler I think does fall to Miami and that is about his worth, I know Arizona would get him, they go O-line Eric Wisnton or Winston Justice or best Secondary player available and get Omar Jacobs in the top of the second. There is no way Santonio Holmes does not get picked by either Philly or SD I am going to go with SD because I think Philly will grab Wayne if the Colts let him walk. Manny Lawson is a 3-4 OLB and doubt he would fit well in Seattle I would look for them to get a WR or Demeco Ryans if he is available, eventhough I do agree with you about him. The steelers could go any route, but you know it will be a solid pick.

A few things I think.

I think Gabe Watson will be a top 15 pick. He was a MONSTER at the senior bowl.
I think Brick is a top 5 lock.
I think Haolti, and Watson will go before Bunkly.

watson and ngata fall into the same category. very talented but VERY lazy. they take way too many plays off. if i had to pick one, i'd take ngata, who's one of the biggest physical freaks in this draft

yeah I should actually apologize for this draft, I was half asleep and my gf's best friend kept bothering me bout something..... at least some of ya'll had some laughs lol

Who is McNabb going to throw to? With Holmes on the board, it should have been a slam dunk.

And with Mike Patterson, Sam Rayburn, and Darwin Walker at DT, I dont think Bunkley is high on their draft board.

Lets say that Brown, and Lewis take over #1, and #2 WR slots. Tackle would be an area to look at. With Runyan in his 100th year, and Tra Thomas holding down the left side, its a perfect match for McNeill to come in and demolish the right side. McNeill, plus Shawn Andrews = huge holes.

I have been hoping that the texans would some how get maybe the best QB in the draft, which is Omar Jacobs, but i just dont see them wasting a 2nd round choice to get the quick yet accurate QB, what do u guys think?

That statement makes no sense at all

Out of the Colts big FAs (Edge, Wayne) Reggie will be the first to go. A team like the Dolphins, Eagles, or Titans will pay him big money to become a #1. Plus they have the most depth at WR then any other team in the NFL. Harrison and Stokley are a fine starting pair. Plus Peyton Manning can take a guy like Troy Walters or Aaron Moorehead and make him into a good receiver just like he did with StokleyWayne is very expendable for a team like the Colts. They will try to keep him but like i said, a team will offer him huge money and he will want to get out of Marvin Harrison's shadow and prove that he can put up #s without Peyton.

i believe that they will get an offensive tackle like Eric Winston or Jon Scott with their 2nd rounder. Winston would be perfect because he is a guy who has top 20 ability/potential but has slipped because of a poor senior year. It would be interesting to see an exciting QB like Jacobs, but i really doubt it will happen.

No QBs for the Texans this year since we have Tony Banks and Dave Ragone, who I think could become the #2 QB this year
