Offensive Coordinator - ???
QB Coach - Gary Kubiak
RB Coach - Kansas City RB Coach
Wide Recievers Coach - Jerry Rice
O-Line Coach - Alex Gibbs

----
Defensive Coordiantor - Mike Singletary
D-Line Coach - Chicago D-Line Coach

Special Teams Coach - Marciano

HC: Kubiak

OC: Calhoun (Kubiak is running the O.. a young guy to learn under him is a good choice)

QB: Kubiak

RB: Bobby Turner (Denver RB coach. He would know how to train Bush)

WR: Kippy Brown

O-line: Alex Gibbs

DC: Jim Bates

Dline: Bill Johnson (Falcons. Great Dline, and he could work with our undersized tweeners. The Atlanta Dline is fairly small. BTW he coached at A&M in the 90s, and was hired at Atlanta by Reeves.)

LB: Mike Singletary

DB: Hoke

ST: Marciano

Ok you guys got Kubiak and most likely Troy Calhoun but you absolutely cannot have Bobby Turner! LOL Mike Shanahan wont let that happen.
Seriously, I think Kub is waiting to see if Shanahan hires Mike Heimerdinger as offensive coordinator in Denver before he makes his decision.
Many here speculate that if Shanny doesnt promote Rick Dennison or Bobby Turner to O-Coord. then Gary Kubiak will take one to texas. But I still think hes set on Calhoun as his O-Coord.

Sherman as OC, Singletary as DC or assistant DC, it's only a matter of time before Singletary gets a good coaching job, the guy is phenominal.

Outstanding call!! Jerry rice would rock as a recievers coach. His offseason workouts are legendary. Those who participate always do better the next year. Good one.

I am totally with the this idea. Rice is a player that has immense talent, but his approach and ethic is what seperates him from every other player in the league.
if he could come in and impart even a fraction of his ethic, it would be monumental to the team. I think his influence as a receivers coach could actually have a ripple effect team wide.
There could be absolutely no negatives about having J. Rice on our staff in any capacity...
An added bonus is the connection that AJ and Rice seem to have made.

I have very nearly the same opinion of Singletary... (other than the AJ connection).

What's with the Calhoun kid for OC? Isn't that a post way over his head? Or a way for Kubiak to be OC and HC, too? For heaven's sake, if his coaching is like his hiring we ought to be worried--he's probably planning on using his sisters for Quality Control Coaches.

Gray got hired by Washington. They are stacked with coordinators now. I heard on the radio todau that McClain:rolleyes: does not think Gibbs is an option and that he is a line coach for hire that wil be here a year and leave and he is not a full timer.

Well mike Singletary is still out there for us to get.. We get Mike and I KNOW for a fact that our defense will be turned around.. whether its from 32 to 15 I dont care.. any improvement is good..

:spy: Taking the angle of Kubiak is waiting until after the Super Bowl to announce his DC , I came up with Dwaine Board . He is the DL coach of the Seahawks but was a coach with the 49ers in the 90's .

This man has some pelts on the wall in 4 Super Bowl rings . This from the angle that Kubiaks given someone a shot .

I'm kind of bummed that we didn't get Jerry Gray as a DC. I'm not sure who Kubiak is hoping for right now, unless it is someone on the Seahawks or Steelers Staff. Is he considering Singletary for a position?

Anyone heard what Shermans status is?

I know that Kubiak hasn't "officially" even been on the job a week, but I thought the staff would come together pretty fast. idonno: You would think that AC's would be standing in line for a job here in Houston, because the team has no where to go but up!

Pure Speculation.

I am hearing the name R.C. Slocum popping up. This is likely fluff, but it has been thrown out there as if the team might be testing the waters among league insiders.

That would be perfect. Not the Gray hiring I mean the Gibbs situation. We have Infantez who's been a line-man in his scheme and is already in place as assistant, Gibbs would be here to coach and mentor Infantez while he gets his stuff in gear.
