clearly you do not know football, Marcus will be available in perhaps 3rd or 4th rounds due to off the field issue + There are far better accomplished QB's

hahha. good one.

p.s. Marcus has alot of issues he needs to deal with, and would be a wasted pick at this time.

See Maurice Clarett

its tough with marcus but if he was still around in the 5th round i might pick him up, just because he is a talented kid, but i would give him the shortest leash i could find

Might as well take Vick, then sign Clarette in the off season... Then Houston Could have a back field of waste of talent...

Taking Vick would be the worse idea ever. Some people act as though they are above everyone else. Some people learn, some people dont. :ok:

The only other walking cancer besides TO.

He will be lucky to go in the 6th.

I would draft him, send him to NFLE, work him out like henson, and trade him.

...or, just use him to rob banks, thus ensuring we have enough money for top FA's. :spy:

Vick was a girl and not only was he a girl he was a terrible, OK. There's no other way to say it. He couldn't even complete a pass in the end zone.

Jan. 9, 2006 - Arrested on charges of brandishing a firearm in McDonald's parking lot.

But he's a much better QB than Mike.

A 6 ft QB who isn't even that multi-demensional (380 yrds rushing 2.6 avg). With his off the field stuff I think undrafted is your most likely scenario. Rounds 4 or 5? That would be Jerry Jones times 2.

Denver had the talent to waste a pick on Clarette(sp). We do NOT have the talent to blow a pick on a player whose play schedule may interfere with his prison schedule. P.S Mike Vick is overrated why do we want this one.

i swear if i hear one more time that mike vick is overrated

Multiple successfull playoff runs, 3 pro bowls, one of the highest winning percentages as a starter in the nfl since he came into the league. All the man does is win, what more do you want from him?

And the only reason he's been in the probowl is because of the fans. Thats why i hate the fan voting methods. Its not based on actual skill it based on popularity

so you discount the rest of my points to focus on that? nice.

Vick gets voted into the Pro Bowl by the fans, he has about the same stats as Carr, and Carr does not get in.

Vick makes succesful playoff runs because the team has the #1 running offense in the league, and a strong defense.
That also accounts for his high win percentage.

Vick is an amazing athlete, but is not a great quarterback.

so if that was true, how come the falcons have an abominable winning percentage when vick sits? By your logic, david carr isnt a great quarterback...or an amazing athlete. He gets voted in the probowl because he wins. Who would you rather have? A quarterback with gaudy stats or a QB with a high winning percentage? Cause i want a winner. By every measure of the term, mike vick is a winner. Dont get caught up in statistics

I think that is because they have no one to manage the team. I never said Vick was a bad quarterback, I said he was not a great or Pro Bowl quality quarterback. He does a great job managing the game, and provides heart and sole to his team. He's just not a probowl quarterback.

Another reason they might have a bad win percentage when he's out is that the backup has no real experience. Schaub was a rookie last year, and got virtually no playing time, so this year he did not have much experience. When Vick broke his leg, the backup quarterback was Doug Johnson. Prior to that season, Johnson had played in 13 games, started 3, attempted 129 passes, completed 76 (58%), 807 yards, with 5 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. So when Vick broke his leg, Johnson almost doubled his previous experience.

Give me a break, I sleep in on weekends.

It also comes from Atlanta having back-up QBs like doug Johnson and Chris Chandler or who ever they pulled out of the grave the year he broke his leg. This year vs. NE Schaub played a hell of a game but they couldnt beat a good team. It happens. The guy is overrated, but overrated doesnt mean sucks, he just isnt the end all beat all at QB.
