Who cares if Mathis is an All-Pro?

Morlon Greenwood and Kris Brown were named to foxsports.com's All-Keep Choppin' Wood team.

And Babin, Buchanon and (thanks for the catch, texasguy346) Payne were Honorable Mentions.

Congrats to our Texans for being associated with the dumbest thing to happen to the Jaguars since the Great Fondue Accident of 2002!

didn't Jack Del Rio keep a piece of wood in the locker room one year as reminder that its all about chopping wood. He had an axe and players could hit the thing. He finally had to remove it after they're kicker hit himself in the leg with the axe

LMAO

there is a stupid taco bell box that wont go away. Morlon Greenwood made the list, and he made mine too. Other texans to make my anual, "You Suck" list: Todd Wade, Marcus Colemen, Demarcus Faggins, Morlon Greenwood, Antwan Peek, Steve McKinny.

Makes me wonder if the guy who wrote that article has a clue. Babin? Does the guy know Babin was hurt the first half of the season and started lighting it up towards the end of the season? And Payne? Are you kidding me? Payne had 51 total tackles and 4 sacks, not bad at all for a NT in the 3-4. Look at Vince Wilfork who plays NT in the 3-4 for New England, he had 42 tackles and 2 sacks, or La'Roi Glover who plays NT in the 3-4 for Dallas, he had 28 tackles and 3 sacks.

"Morlon Greenwood may have led the Texans in tackles, but those tackles only came after opponents had already gained a good amount of yardage. Greenwood led all starting linebackers in most yards allowed per run, and finished in the top 10 in yards per pass allowed. Greenwood was one of only three linebackers to be involved in over 100 plays with a Stop Rate below 50 percent."

Ouch..

Jamie Sharper had the same problem.

When it comes to Greenwood, I have a feeling it is a combination of lack of talent and our Defensive scheme sucked plus our front three don't do a very good job of slowing runners down or occupying blockers.

I have no complaints with how Jason Babin played at the end of the year. In fact if he continues that play into next year, he may have been worth the pick.
