Most people are forgetting that there is another potentially great Texas QB coming out this year in the draft. His name is, Reggie McNeal of A&M. I haven't seen a lot of A&M games this year but remember before the season started there was talk that McNeal was a legitimate Heisman candidate. As we all know A&M had a really bad season, but they also had a lot of injuries on both sides of the ball. I don't know what his exact numbers were for the season but he played well without a lot of his big weapons on offense. I think his passing game and mechanics are more refined than Vince Young's and he is an excellent scrambler as well. Both are from Houston as well but for obvious reasons Reggie McNeal is not getting a lot of pub in the local media and radio talkshows. IMO I think whichever team drafts McNeal is going to get an excellent player and I think he has the potential to be a great QB. :twocents:

He will be a second day, but i see him strictly as a QB at the next level.
 
he is a cry baby with a "big head" but can be a good leader at times. he is a career NFL backup, unfortunatly.

Do you actually know Reggie? I do. He is not a cry baby, but his antics at the end of the season will hurt his draft status. He has an ego. All good athletes do.
 
Guess that would explain why Bush is getting more pub than Matt Forte (RB, Tulane).

Bush is from California, Forte is from Slidell.
