Wisconsin tailback Brian Calhoun to enter draft:

His speed, cutback ability, and acceleration through the hole make me believe he's gonna be a very, very good pro.

That said, one more year and he would have been a first rounder.

Brian Calhoun rushed for 213 yards, lifting the No. 21 Badgers to a 24-10 victory over No. 7 Auburn in the Capital One Bowl. "We've had MVPs of three Rose Bowls and they're all running backs," Alvarez said. "When we win big games, our running backs play well. This one happens to be the most talented one that we've had."

At the same time however Calhoun had a tough time against stingy defenses like Iowa 15 rushing attempts for 18 yards and Penn State 20 for 38 yds. 5-10 195 lbs seems a bit undersized. Calhoun would benifit greatly by staying in school for his senior season, I doubt he breaks into the 2nd rd. this year.

Eerily similar to what Larry Johnson did in his final year in college. He was an outstanding RB, everyone knew that, but he had bad games against OSU and Michigan, and because of that, people doubted his skills.

Sometimes you shouldn't put too much stock into a players bad games, instead be amazed at what he accomplished every other game.
