Texan's Real Draft Plan

Here was what the Texans need to do.... trade down and draft D'Brick to anchor the O-Line. No Reggie or Vince. Let the team progress and with the first pick in the 09 NFL Draft take Tyrell Sutton from Northwestern. He is 10 times better than Bush and Young put together. He is a true freshman who won every award possible. AP Freshmen Offensive Player of the Year, Big Ten Freshmen of the Year, etc. He was 7th in the nation in rushing and had 18 total tds. Imagine him as a senior???? 3000 rushing yards and 30 tds????? Expect Northwestern to be in contention for the national championship. Let me know what you think.

hate to double post, but i was so irritated i missed the contradiction...if our team progresses, how in the world would we have the first pick?

Dude it was joke. But seriously Sutton is going to be a dominate force. He is very confident in his abilities.
"I play every game like it's my last. I put this beautiful chocolate body on the line and dominate da football field... Reggie Bush is man amongst boys, but I'm a god among men."- Tyrell Sutton

If he was that good wouldn't he come out as a junior in '08?

He wants to get an education and didn't Leinart stay 5 years:ok: . He wants to learn how to properly speak the English language unlike VY.

You know who else was a dominate freshman? Even led his team to win the National Championship? Good ol'Maurice Clarett. We all see how he turned out. Le this Sutton kid grow up before we label him great and end up with Maurice again.

Tyrell Sutton goes to Northwestern. The graduated 83% of their players, the highest of any bowl team. They don't allow thugs like Maurice Clarrett and Sutton is not cocky enough to declare for the draft, especially after Clarett and Mike Williams.

Just to clarify I was just kidding. I like Sutton and he is a great player. I was just tired of hearing about Bush and Young so I wanted to throw some people off. By the way, has anybody heard of Tyrell Sutton b/c Northwestern isn't a top football school?

2 small points.....

1) can you show me where in the northwestern school handbook the "no thugs policy" is located?

2) How cocky do you have to be to declare for the nfl draft. On a scale of 1-10, where would you rate his cockiness? How does one measure cockiness? If cockiness were an attribute in madden, how many attribute points would your boy get? cause if he rates a 78 or above on the cocky scale, im betting it would bring your team down.

Haha. as for your first question last time I checked I don't see any NW players robbing people. I suppose it is an unwritten rule b/c they look for players who not only want to play football, but get an education. You have to be very cocky to declare for the NFL draft as a freshmen b/c it is against the rules. I would rate his cockiness as a 1. I would measure one's cockiness by their attitude. He would be the lowest possible cockiness on madden. On another note I feel bad for Clarett. He final gets drafted and he never even touches the ball and gets cut. His window of opportunity is closing, so he goes and robs somebody. MAybe he should have stayed in school and got that degree huh????

maybe you should check harder
type northestern football players into google and you get the following

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/college/news/1998/12/03/news.nwestern.html
this first link deals with football players indicted for perjury

Northwestern has suffered through six deaths in seven years: two players killed by guns (one by police during a traffic stop), one from cancer, the tragic shooting of former basketball coach Ricky Birdsong by a racist, and now Wheeler. One would almost think that the school is jinxed, except of course that the school has made three post-season appearances in this time. Of course, the school’s and coaches’ blame will eventually be determined in a court of law, where all of these types of things seem to end up, and NU has a lot of money to pay off Wheeler’s family. But we can all agree that it won’t make up for the life of this young man.

this is an excerpt from another article about your fine football program

kindly dont preach to me about how clean your program is and how much your students want to learn....i would dig up more if i thought you would see things any differently

I am impressed you went to such great lengths to prove me wrong. I had not heard of those trials b/c I just recently began following the program. I believe one case was 8 years ago and another was 5. I could find similar information on any program in the country.

it was 2 clicks in a search engine, not great lengths, and your RIGHT. you could find similar stuff on any program in the country, that was MY POINT. northwestern is not a mecca for the educationally and athletically driven, and they can have thugs too.
