Daunte worn out his welcome in Minn?

I was reading on NFL.com that Culpepper might be interested in leaving Minn. and they might be interested in helping him leave.

The buzz is Miami is number one spot on the list. Where are some other places you think he could wind up?

I would think Arizona and Detroit would also be interested since they are fairly far down in the draft and don't have a shot at Leinart and both are needing a QB, and I think he'd love to go to either team because both have some talented, young WRs (Anquan Boldin, Larry Fitzgerald, and Bryant Johnson in Arizona and Roy Williams, Charles Rogers, and Mike Williams in Detroit).

saintsville.

I doubt that one, the Saints have the #2 pick in the draft and can go after Leinart rather than having to trade off players and/or draft picks to get Culpepper, plus I really doubt Culpepper would want to go there. Culpepper struggled this year in a decent offensive system after he lost his stud WR, and the Saints don't really have a stud WR to throw desperation passes at that Culpepper frequently makes (Joe Horn is pretty good, but not great). Detroit has three stud WRs and should be looking to throw the ball a ton and Arizona has two stud WRs and a third pretty good one and they obvously love to throw the ball a lot, so those would be my top two choices for where Daunte would want to go, and both teams are looking for a QB and trading for Culpepper rather than gambling on the 2nd or 3rd best QB in the draft could be appealing and allow them to concentrate the draft on other needs (OLine and defense, especially OLine for Arizona).

Not to mention he'd be re-united with Denny Green in an Offense he already knows. I'm not sure if detroit will continue to run the west coast which doesn't reall seem to fit his skills of throwing the deep ball.

lol, that was totally uncalled for but a good shot.

And if you are going to have a party boat....why would u not PRIVATE CHARTER it or buy your own for goodness sake. They weren't the brightest.

If he went to Arizona that would be a pretty scary team.

Daunte in Arizona would yield a scary offense at least. I think he could do the same in Detroit depending on who their new coach is going to be, but I think they'd be foolish to go with anyone other than an offensive coach that like to throw the ball a lot since they have three nice WRs.

You would be surprised how foolish the Lions are.

Now THAT would be interesting. You know he wants to THROW IT 50 TIMES A GAME. There would definitely be enough balls to go around there.

there is a really good joke to be made here about daunte being a good team "captain" if anyone cares to see it

I still want charles rogers on the Texans next year.
He has the talent, but unless he changes his life around a la Koren Robinson, Charles Rodgers will be a pothead who would rather smoke than play. I'm all for second chances, but he hasn't proved to be a #4 WR.
