Tony Brackens a Texan?

Jagsbch

Hey guy's, I can't tell you guys how much it hurts this fan to see Tony go, I about squirted one while talking to him on the radio this morning. Total bummer  :(

Tony said the he could work in Capers system as an OLB. He liked the Idea of being in Houston; it would put him just an 1 1/2 hrs from his home. I don't know how interested you'd be, but Tony prefers to be in Texas above anyother team in the league. He said he would even entertain playing for league minimum, since it would be just 250 less than he would have been making with the Jags this season.

So what do you guys think, is there room on your roster for another Jag?

I really don't see it happening. Part of the reasons the Jags released him was due to an injury that kept them from evaluating his place with the team. If he were to convert to an OLB he would have a lot to learn in a short amount of time. I think that any team who picks him up would have to see how he's recovered from injury before taking a chance on him. I think the Eagles would be a good fit for him. They've had a lot of injuries, and might be interested in some depth at DE. That is, of course, if he's 100% healthy. The Eagles signed Dorsey Levens after losing Buckhalter for the year, and they lost Kalu for the season as well.

i'll take him for my practice squad...i think if he wants to play in texas he'll have better luck with the cowboys

he is damaged goods, not to metion that he has never played olb and we have a lot of depth in that area. I would be suprised if any team picks him up, because he is on the down side of his career.

He might be a good midseason pickup for a team that needs a pass rush specialist......IF he is able to recover from his injuries. Since he has had so much difficulty playing a complete season, it might be good for him to sit out for a while and then just try to play a half season.

It is really unfortunate that he has had so many injuries throughout his career. He had the potential to be one of the great pass rushers, but he was always injured.

Hmmm...Texans signing an injury prone lineman from Jacksonville named Tony....

I don't think THAT's gonna happen again. :hehe:

I think Philly might, and thats a big might, look at Brackens saying that they lost Kalu for the season...

Quit trying to dump your broken down players on us. J-ville, that's why were going to kick your butts this year. Ship his butt somewhere else, all the seats on the TEXANS Express are taken.
